Meet Ian Harrison | Head Innovation Dude @ SNEAKAR.IO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ian Harrison and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ian, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Love this question, I think EVERY brand should ask themselves this regularly…
My answer, always, every time; The people …. . Our end algorithm as a brand are those who show up for us. On socials, at events, in a moment that matters … without the people we’d be building for a blank wall.
To that end, making sure we understand the pulse of our brand loyalists and future intentional buyers is paramount, it’s fluid, and it’s crucial. All of us at SNEAKAR factor this in our impact at our core ethos, for our collaborative clients, and for the people. It’s “know this to be, and move accordingly”.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
At SNEAKAR, we’re not just a footwear company, nor are we only an immersive XR (extended reality) ad platform. We ARE the new mad men —we’re a cultural movement blending technology, creativity, and community.
What sets us apart?
We’ve redefined what it means for BOLD BRANDS to own their CX through journey-telling and a pair of kicks. With XR integration, phygital experiences, and our Web3-powered “Culture Coins,” every step becomes a statement.
We don’t just sell sneakers; through our tangible delivery we create immersive platforms for storytelling, connection, and empowerment.
Where others stop at the sale,we begin the journey—it’s enculturation with every customer into part of our “Culture Crew” squad through seamless web3 onboarding.
What We’re Most Proud Of?
We’re proud of how we’ve turned sneakers into something bigger than footwear. From hosting live design workshops with youth to empowering underserved communities through NIL partnerships and immersive experiences, we’re proving that sneakers can be tools for change.
Our collaboration with platforms like Uncut Digital Art Platform, EvwrybodyDeserves.org, and initiatives like #STAYSNEAKAR STORIES are about more than innovation—they’re about impact.
The Journey So Far:
Let’s keep it real—it wasn’t easy building SNEAKAR from the ground up. Disrupting the sneaker industry while merging Web3 tech, XR, and culture? That’s no small feat. But we thrive on challenges.
From navigating supply chain issues to breaking into a competitive market dominated by giants, we’ve learned to embrace every obstacle as an opportunity to innovate.
How We Overcame Challenges?
We leaned on our people—our superfans, collaborators, and most importantly: community. By staying true to our mission of authenticity and inclusivity, we’ve built a loyal base that amplifies our story through word-of-mouth and digital platforms. When faced with challenges like counterfeiting or competition, we doubled down on transparency and cutting-edge tech like blockchain-backed authentication to protect our brand integrity.
Lessons Learned Along the Way
	1.	Community is everything: Our superfans are the heartbeat of SNEAKAR.
	2.	Innovation drives impact: Whether it’s XR-enhanced designs or gamified retail experiences, staying ahead keeps us relevant.
	3.	Authenticity wins: People connect with brands that live their values.
	4.	Fail forward: Every misstep has been a stepping stone toward where we are today.
What We Want the World to Know?
SNEAKAR isn’t just about branding, media and sneakers—it’s about rewriting the rules of fashion, tech, and culture.
We’re here for the dreamers, the disruptors, bold brands and anyone ready to build something bigger than themselves.
With every drop, every collab, and every story shared by our Culture Crew, we’re proving that sneakers can be more than shoes—they can be catalysts for change.
So when you think of SNEAKAR, think bold moves, limitless possibilities, and impact that’s always forward-thinking. This is just the beginning—come build with uS @ SNEAKAR.IO/BOLDBRANDS

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to town, we’d hit Delucca Gaucho Pizza & Wine first for endless pizza… facts!… then head to Deep Ellum to check out murals, hit The Fabrication Yard for graffiti, and grab tacos ( prolly the bulgogi beef joints from OMG). Nights would be downtown prolly, rap shows and jazz at spots like Triumphs Espresso & Whiskey Bar, The Balcony Club, 3 links, RBC, Texas Tea Room or Sandaga 813.
For outdoor hangs: disc golf at Lake Park or Harry Myers.., prolly show the homie the Truck Yard for some “Everything’s bigger in Texas” hangs and roll by Rec Shop to check out the gear and vibe
Denton would get a night off the square ..rooftop hang at LSA Burger. A dang’ol shot somewhere, and Fry Street for some chaos.
Somewhere in there, we’d hit Dallas Museum of Art or Nasher Sculpture Center and a final Moscow Mule rooftop style at the Statler before they head out just to make sure we covered ALL the bases.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yeah. For sure.! Shout out to Alexander (Lex) Lewis. This long time friend likely single-handedly reshaped the course of my creative. Lex will always be my crypto-confidant… My journey into web3 began through the mind blowing paradigm shift he presented to me in 2019 about token backing my creative as assets and architecting use case into all things. He’s now gone on to ABSOLUTELY crush it with MyDoge wallet and I couldn’t be happier for the homie.
