We had the good fortune of connecting with Holly Bridier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Holly, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and knew I wanted to put a fun, unique spin on a business of my own. I’ve loved getting dressed up and feeling my best for as long as I can remember—and I’ve always wanted to help other women experience that same confidence. Starting Jaded Tans was truly a no-brainer; it’s the perfect way to showcase my personality while helping others look and feel their absolute best!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Jaded Tans is all about bringing confidence, fun, and a little sparkle to every spray tan—it’s less about a routine service and more about a mini celebration. I love helping women feel like their most radiant selves, one tan at a time.

Balancing a corporate sales career with running my business hasn’t been easy, but my passion for helping women feel their best has kept me going. I’m proud of the community I’ve built and the confidence I get to spread. Every compliment from a client is a reminder that Jaded Tans is about brightening more than just skin—it’s about brightening spirits.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well, they’ll obviously need a Jaded Tan to get weekend-ready! My friends and I love spending time on the southside of Fort Worth for dinner and drinks. Bocca Osteria Romana on South Main Street is always our first stop—their Italian dishes and cocktails are unbeatable! From there, we usually head to Nickel City, our favorite ‘hole-in-the-wall’ bar, for a few drinks and to mingle with the locals. And of course, no girls’ night is complete without ending at Atlas, our go-to cocktail bar, where we always wrap things up with a nightcap—and their amazing pretzel bites!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My company is named in honor of my late cousin, Jade Victoria Bridier. Jade was a true princess at heart—she loved dressing up, painting her nails, and wearing bright lipstick. On August 24, 2016, she was diagnosed with DIPG, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Just five days later, at only four years old, Jade passed away.

Jaded Tans was created in the hope that others can feel as beautiful and confident as Jade did when she played dress-up and conquered the world. Her mom, my Aunt Vicky, turned pain into purpose by founding the Texas (Central) Chapter of a DIPG foundation in Jade’s honor. Their very first event, Jade’s Royal Ball, was inspired by Jade’s wish to attend a father-daughter dance. A video from that event went viral, spreading awareness about DIPG, and since then, the chapter has hosted countless fundraisers—like Jade’s Memorial Golf Tournament, Drive Fore the Cure, Mayday for Cancer Research, and more—with the continued support of the Texas State Troopers.
