Meet Heidi Jones

We had the good fortune of connecting with Heidi Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Heidi, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Risk has been the fuel behind everything I’ve built. I don’t look at risk as danger—I look at it as opportunity. The truth is, if you want to create something real, you’ve got to be willing to step out where there’s no safety net. That’s how I’ve moved in every lane I’m in.
Every time I’ve taken a risk, it’s either paid off or taught me something that set me up for the next win. I’ve launched businesses, managed artists, and made plays that people doubted—but that’s the difference between watching opportunity pass you by and actually building a legacy.
At the end of the day, Dallas is built on risk-takers. I think of risk as a muscle—the more you work it, the stronger you get. And for me, risk-taking hasn’t just shaped my career, it’s defined it. Playing it safe might keep you comfortable, but it will never make you legendary.

What should our readers know about your business?
At my core, I’m an artist first — everything else comes second. Too many people in this industry chase money and lose sight of the art, and I refuse to let that happen to me or to any of the creatives I work with.
I’ve also learned that not everyone in this business thinks the way I do — and for a long time, I saw that as a weakness. But over time, I realized it’s actually my strength. I don’t want to fit in, and I don’t want my artists to feel pressured to fit in either. I’m here to prove you don’t have to follow someone else’s blueprint — you can build your own lane and thrive in it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Im a big foodie, so I would definitely take them to A Taste of Ways for some soul food, Cesar’s Tacos in Oak Cliff for the best tacos,(sorry fuel city),Dakotas for bone marrow, Drinks at The Grapevine so we can be lowkey and play some basketball,(shots with shots), and as far as events go, anything that Meka Jackson has going on is a definite destination…..And if I’m really letting them into my world, I’ll take them to Turtle Creek where I always find my peace.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I wanna thank Tut Tarantino, Dielog, Darkskin the Plug, Big Snow (not the little one), and honestly every artist, engineer, and producer that I’ve been able to work with for believing in me in every way possible.
