Meet Hedras Ramos Sr. | Music Producer & Audio Engineer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Hedras Ramos Sr. and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Hedras, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
Short version… Love them unconditionally! Longer version… A lot of things like supporting their dreams, and being there for them when they need me the most.
They have complete assurance that I and my wife are available for them 24/7 every day.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Since I’m an independent Audio Producer and audio has been my thing for almost 3 decades, I always get excited when I’m given projects that involve some sort of video production/post-production because that means double joy when you hear and see the final work completed, it feels rewarding that I’m being part of a bigger project.
It’s usual for me to work just by myself, but often times I also find myself hiring other talents who are amazing at what they do, especially in the areas of voiceovers, video, and musicians when this is a live gig. These great talents are among the very best in their fields and they come to enrich some of the projects I’ve been hired to produce or I’m part of.
I’m totally blessed by working with all of them, they know who they are. My gratitude to all of you (if you’re reading this interview) for lending your talent to these projects.
I approach all jobs (big or small) with the same philosophy… give the very best of myself, and deliver to the extent of exceeding the client’s expectations. It’s not always easy, because many times you will have to walk not just one extra mile, but perhaps a few. But in the end, the results are rewarding, and that makes me proud and happy in what I do.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Since I live near Dallas, I guess Downtown Dallas and the museum are mandatory stops. There is also a free ride on the trolley that you can take to see some cool places downtown. A visit to the Stockyards in Fort Worth is also in place. A ride on the ferry in the city of Rockwall could also be interesting, Mckinney’s little downtown is also a nice place to visit to spend the afternoon and see the sunset.
Near my place is also located the Grandscape in The Colony, which has a little something for every one of the family, from enjoying a live performance, eating at the local restaurants, the kids playing some games, watching a movie, to enjoying some good wine.
Some of my favorite places to eat are in Frisco and there’s this small Persian restaurant called Aria Mediterranean Grill, they have the very best beef Shish Kabob and Hummus I have ever tried. I always say to my family that this is a delicious explosion of flavor in your mouth from the very first bite. If you come to Frisco, TX, I highly recommend checking it out.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
In previous interviews, I’ve mentioned some people that have had an impact on my life. This time I’d like to do something different.
I’d love to give a shoutout to Jesus, the behind-the-curtains hero of my life because I’ve been mentored, nurtured, loved, and encouraged by him and his word beyond what human words can describe.
I just need to remember his teachings, his infinite wisdom, and his unfailing love to keep me focused on how to serve others in the best possible way I can in all areas of my life, that includes my clients, my family, friends, etc.
