We had the good fortune of connecting with Hard Fingaz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hard, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
They don’t know how much work you have to put in. I always tell the guys to get them reps in. Artist aren’t just going to hop on your beats. You have to not only master your craft but you have to show up and show face, rub elbows with people. That’s probably the hardest part at least for me.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I found my love for music in the Navy. Deployment was hard and mentally draining. I’m still suffering from that to this day. I moved to Atlanta with $300 in my pocket and slept on a couch for months to get on my feet. This game isn’t easy and not for the weak. I stayed focused and positive. Ja Rule told me to enjoy the journey so that’s what I’m doing. Just know Hard Fingaz is coming and is ready to short the culture of hip hop.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
To be honest I don’t even go out lol. I’m either at the crib or at the studio. I’m going to the Art Institute of Atlanta too but other than that I couldn’t tell you where to go besides Onyx strip club.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a S/O to Punkin my cousin who gave me my first experience in the music industry. Trophy Boi who helped me with my artistry. Gravity House Studios for giving me a space to be creative. Ak, EQ, Joe Da Don, are some of the engineers I’m learning from. Martymuchoguapo, 300it, Kayno, Low, Swan, Cam, Spo2k, Skoolie are just a few fire producers I can name right now. Tim who showed me another side of the business. Ace the first engineer I clicked with.
