Meet Hamzeh Massoud | Owner & Founder of Service Max

We had the good fortune of connecting with Hamzeh Massoud and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Hamzeh, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
I believe that habits have the power to shape a person and determine their future. As I grow, I focus on developing new habits, mastering them, and then introducing even better ones, creating a continuous cycle of improvement.
One habit that has been particularly impactful for me is acting on impulse. While it may seem unconventional, I attribute much of my success to it. When I recognize an opportunity—regardless of the circumstances—I act on it the moment the thought enters my mind. I’ve found that overthinking often leads to hesitation, excuses, or missed chances.
Ultimately, I strive to build my habits around the principle that fortune favors the bold. Good habits look different for everyone, depending on their goals, but at the core, success comes from aligning your actions with the mindset of the person you aspire to become. If you consistently act as a successful person would, you will eventually get where you want to go.

What should our readers know about your business?
Service Max is more than just a window cleaning company—it’s a stepping stone toward a greater mission. What sets us apart is not just the quality of our work, but the purpose behind it. Every dollar I earn through Service Max goes toward funding Heartful Helpers, the nonprofit organization I founded. Our mission is to provide opportunities and make a lasting impact on those less fortunate through sports, dance, and community service.
Getting to where I am today in business has been anything but easy. Balancing being a student-athlete, an AP student, and an entrepreneur comes with its challenges, from time management to finding the right strategies to grow. One of the biggest hurdles has been learning how to market my services effectively, while upholding the reputation of my brand.
Through this journey, I’ve learned that habits and bold action shape success. One of my core beliefs is that fortune favors the bold, so when an opportunity presents itself, I act on it without hesitation. I also understand the importance of consistency and daily improvement—I strive to get 1% better every day in every aspect of my life.
If there’s one thing I want people to know about me and my brand, it’s that I’m building something bigger than just a business. Service Max isn’t just about cleaning windows; it’s about turning hard work into something meaningful, using entrepreneurship as a vehicle to give back and uplift others. That’s what truly drives me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting Southlake, Texas, for a week, I’d make sure they got the full experience—great food, exciting activities, and a taste of Texas culture. We’d start the trip with breakfast at Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, then explore Southlake Town Square, checking out local shops and grabbing a smoothie from Pressed before heading to Bicentennial Park for a light workout or a game of catch. Dinner at Del Frisco’s Grille would set the tone for the week, followed by dessert at Milk & Honey or a movie at Harkins Theatre.
The next day, we’d take a trip to Dallas, starting with breakfast at Bread Winners Cafe before visiting the Dallas Museum of Art or the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. After grabbing lunch at a food truck in Klyde Warren Park, we’d explore the city, then cap off the night with dinner at Nick & Sam’s and catch a Mavericks or Stars game, depending on the season. For some outdoor adventure, we’d spend a day at Lake Grapevine, kayaking or paddleboarding, then enjoy some authentic Texas barbecue at Meat U Anywhere before heading to the Fort Worth Stockyards to experience cowboy culture. Dinner at Joe T. Garcia’s would be a must, followed by live country music and maybe even riding the mechanical bull at Billy Bob’s Texas.
Midweek, we’d get competitive with a morning workout at F45 before heading to Topgolf in The Colony or racing go-karts at Andretti Indoor Karting. Lunch would be quick—maybe Shake Shack or Chipotle—before dinner at Kobe Steakhouse, where the hibachi chefs put on an entertaining show. For late-night fun, we’d hit up Round1 Bowling & Arcade. After all the action, we’d slow things down with a shopping and relaxation day, starting with brunch at Whistle Britches before heading to NorthPark Center or Galleria Dallas. Later, we’d unwind at The Ritz-Carlton Spa before ending the night with sushi at Uchi Dallas and rooftop views at Happiest Hour.
For some thrill-seeking, we’d spend a day at Six Flags Over Texas, hitting all the biggest roller coasters before grabbing burgers at Chop House Burgers. Later, we’d take on an escape room challenge at The Escape Game Grapevine before ending the day with a fancy dinner at Perry’s Steakhouse and exploring Legacy West for late-night coffee and dessert. To wrap up the trip, we’d have one last brunch at The Biscuit Bar, then take it easy at White Rock Lake before heading to the airport. This week would be the perfect balance of adventure, great food, and unforgettable experiences—everything that makes Texas special.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am a firm believer in the power of family. Every effort—big or small—that my parents have put into raising me has shaped the person I am today. Without their unwavering love and support, along with that of my brothers through every stage of life, I wouldn’t be where I am. They have been my backbone since day one.
Beyond my family, I’d also like to recognize Alex Perry. Although my time with him has been brief, the opportunities and insights he has shared have been invaluable, especially in the formation of Service Max. Recently, Mr. Perry introduced me to a book that has had a profound impact on me: The 38 Letters from J.D. Rockefeller to His Son. This book has been one of the most pivotal influences in my life, providing me with timeless wisdom from one of history’s greatest minds.
