We had the good fortune of connecting with Greg Solomon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Greg, why did you pursue a creative career?
I believe God created us to BE creators.

There are so many people stuck in a rut of seeking their identity through jobs/titles/positions, etc.

I’ve found that it is an extremely empowering feeling to know who you are, and who you were created and redeemed to be. Then you can pour that into what you create.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We design and create custom modern/farmhouse furniture.

Our main business is building dining tables under our new brand: Rejoice Home.

Until 2020, I had never built a table. My first table was actually a re-purposed barn door. It was a happy accident. As soon as I built it, it sold instantly. Like within a day. Keri said “you know… maybe you should just build tables.”

Then boom. It exploded.

There is something meaningful about tables. It’s a place for family and community. It brings people together.

It’s an honor to design something that will be a blessing to others for years to come. And I love creating them with this in mind.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The Downtown Fort Worth area is definitely a gym. So many fun restaurants on West 7th.

It’s also fun to hop on the train to Grapevine and stop at the Harvest Hall. So many great food spots all in one huge place with live music. Everybody wins!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Easy. My wife, Keri.

She has been not just a supporter, but a partner. In everything! Business, marriage, parenting, ministry, and life.

She encourages me to take risks, as well as bringing me down to reality when I get consumed with work.

She inspires me. Like seriously… I would not be designing and creating the type of furniture I build without her influence.

She has her own business ventures, and she kills it. She’s unstoppable. I love it!

But the best part is knowing how much she enjoys seeing how happy I am to do what I love. That makes it so worth it.
