Hi Good Luck Sis, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
W e didn’t technically intend for our podcast to become a business. We just wanted to create a space that allows girls like us to connect and feel seen. Overtime we realized the impact we had in our community and decided to take this a step forward and make our podcast a business. We knew that we would be able to deliver so much more to our audience if we made our podcast a business.

What should our readers know about your business?What sets us apart from other podcast is the fact that we are relatable to others. A lot of podcast focuses have specific genres they fall into whether it’s sex positivity, politics, tv reviews, etc. Good Luck Sis encompasses it all. Our podcast allows everyone, particularly women, to explore the many different versions of themselves unapologetically. We push the narrative that you can be more than one thing and live your life accordingly. Our podcast has become a guiding light in the earbuds and eyes of sisters worldwide, spreading laughter, wisdom, and inspiration.

We are most proud of the connections and trust we have built over the years with our audience. We have created a loyal following that feels like we know each other personally. We have become our audience’s biggest cheerleader and vice versa.

We got to where we are today business- wise by staying encouraged and motivated. We work together and set aside our goals and implement strategies to grow our podcast. One thing I would love the world to know about the podcast is that it is our mission to empower women through our inspiring conversations.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love this question! One of my favorite dining places I would bring a friend to eat and drink is Lo-lo’s Chicken. Lo-lo’s Chicken has the best soul food paired with sweet Kool Aid drinks.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would love to dedicate this shout out to PrimeArt Media and Chicken Room Studio. PrimeArt Media has provided us with the best quality videos and pictures for our podcast .Chicken Room Studio provided us with the best space we needed to produce our show. There’s no way we would be as far as we are without. They believed in us from the very beginning and have given us mu     ltiple opportunities to grow into the podcast we are today. Our success is from the support we receive from these two businesses. We want to thank our friends, family and audiences for their love, encouragement and support.
