Meet Go Dj Boladi | Musical Mood Enhancer (Dj)

We had the good fortune of connecting with Go Dj Boladi and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Go, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I have always been around the arts wether it’s been music, poetry, musicians it was everywhere I turned so it seem like it was a given
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have a saying that I try to live by #WeVibeDifferent being a 80’s baby I was able to be exposed to different type of music being as a poet I was able to pay attention to lyrics as a clubber I was able to pay attention to different djs and the vibes they created which all helped shape my style of Djing I try to create a space for everybody in attendance no matter age where you from ethnicity I want to be able to play something or create a vibe that’s universal nostalgic and rememberable one of the moments I’m proud of for me is being able to open up for Dj Spinderella and Dj Cut Creator as a hip hop head that’s like opening up for royalty in my eyes so that kinda boosted my confidence a lil bit and made me wanna work that much harder to try to keep pushing the envelope as far as I can . Took a while and I’m still not where I wanna be yet but closer but hard work practice consistency taking pride and believing in what you do will show in your work that’s with anything you do it’s still not easy but it gets easier when u find your lane or that sweet space your own sound people know what to expect along with some surprises you may have in store for them as far as challenges to me it’s more of learning experiences because every challenge gives you a opportunity to overcome or create something different or something new that the masses have been wanting lessons learned be ready at all times be confident take time to learn if possible master what it is you are choosing to do as far as Go Dj Boladi and Retrofuturistic Ent is to expect the unexpected I focus on quality more than quantity and when you book Dj Boladi u are guaranteed quality
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
