Meet Giovana Rautio | Brow Specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Giovana Rautio and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Giovana, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Honestly, the idea behind starting Browzilian Studio came from wanting to create something more personal and private, not just another beauty spot.
I’m a big believer in creating a space that’s not only relaxing, but also kid-friendly and welcoming. Whether you’re a busy mom, a first-timer, or someone who just wants to feel pampered without the pressure, I wanted you to feel right at home here.
What makes my space different is the time I take to really listen. Your appointment is never rushed. We sit down and go over everything, from your goals to what you’re hoping to achieve, so you feel completely comfortable and confident before we start. It’s all about creating a calm, customized experience where you’re heard and cared for.
Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2016, originally as a nail tech, but it wasn’t until 2019 that I truly found my passion for brows. Brows were more than just a service, they were personal. I noticed how even the smallest tweaks could change how someone saw themselves in the mirror and I loved how I could help people feel like themselves, only more confident.
That’s when the vision for Browzilian Studio started to take shape.
At the end of 2020, I officially opened Browzilian Studio in Fort Worth. It was a dream come true, and I poured everything into it, and within that first year, I was honored to win Best of Fort Worth 2021. It was such a proud moment to have my work recognized and celebrated by the community I love.
But like life sometimes does, it threw a few curveballs my way. After a year of serving clients, I faced some unexpected life changes and had to make the incredibly difficult decision to close the studio temporarily.
Even though stepping back was tough, it gave me a new perspective. I never stopped learning, growing, and dreaming about reopening.
In 2024, I made that dream a reality again, this time in North Richland Hills, with even more clarity, purpose, and heart behind everything I do.
What sets Browzilian Studio apart is the intentional care behind every appointment. It’s never rushed or cookie-cutter. I take the time to understand your goals, discuss the process thoroughly, and make sure you leave feeling like the best version of yourself. It’s a tailored, calm experience where you’re never just a number.
I’m proud of the journey, not because it’s been easy, but because I’ve learned so much through every setback and success. I’ve learned to be resilient, to pivot when needed, and to never lose sight of why I started.
If there’s one thing I want people to know about Browzilian Studio, it’s that this isn’t just a beauty studio, it’s a place built on passion, purpose, and a whole lot of heart. Every brow, every client, every story matters here.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is a tough one! Ask me about kid-friendly spots and I could go on forever, because that’s usually where you’ll find me! I’m not someone who’s out all the time, but when I do get a chance to enjoy the area, there are definitely a few go-to places I love. The Fort Worth Stockyards and Sundance Square are always a must for that classic Texas experience. Second Rodeo Brewing is such a great vibe whether you’re with family or friends. The live music, food, and relaxed atmosphere never disappoint. Legacy Hall is another favorite for that same reason, so many options, and always something going on. And if you’re looking for a fun night out, Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar is a blast, high energy and a guaranteed good time.
When it comes to food, I tend to gravitate toward smaller, local spots over big, crowded restaurants. Bacon’s is one of my go-to places for brunch, it has that old-school, mom-and-pop charm with a cozy, small-town feel. Namoo is another favorite, it’s a fun little Korean restaurant with amazing food and top-notch customer service. And my all-time favorite Mexican restaurant is La Nueva Puntada in Grand Prairie. I used to go there all the time when I was in nail school, and their food has never disappointed. It’s the kind of place that feels like home.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Without a doubt, my shoutout goes to my two daughters. As an immigrant and a single mom with no family nearby, everything I do, every risk, every small win is for them. They are my “why” behind it all.
This journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been filled with purpose. I want them to grow up knowing that even if the odds feel stacked against you, you can still create something beautiful and meaningful with grit, faith, and a whole lot of love.
