We had the good fortune of connecting with George Miadis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My main focus at this moment is Sons of Faust. Sons of Faust make music inspired by obscure soundtracks, ambient dreamscapes, library oddities, experimental rock and synth pop; their sound is uchronic, not so much timeless as existing in an idealized time, a recurring moment which commemorates the betrayal between memory and history.
The project brings a baroque sensibility to the aesthetics of our metaverse era, offering emotional generosity as an audible present.
Listening to the gift of now.

Music like every other form of art demands dedication and hard work.
Endless hours of practicing my craft, researching/experimenting, got me to where I am today.
All this is a pleasure for me to do so I’m not the right person to say if it is easy or hard. I believe that if you are full in for it, it feels easy although for the outsiders might look incredibly hard.
Now, speaking of hard there are a lot challenges that come along. By insisting and thinking out of the box usually helps to overcome these challenges. But I always keep one rule as sacred. By the mouth of the great Andy Warhol: ” If it’s not easy, it ain’t worth making it”.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
1. Lets start with Fort Worth Stockyards, a historic district that celebrates the city’s cowboy heritage. Catch the cattle drive at 11:30am or 4:00pm, visit the Stockyards Museum, and check out the many shops and restaurants in the area.

2. Start the second day at the Kimbell Art Museum, one of the best small art museums in the world, with a collection that spans from ancient to modern times.
Visit the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, which houses a collection of post-World War II art, including works by Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollock, and Mark Rothko.
Finish with a visit to the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, which spans over 100 acres and features 23 specialty gardens, including a Japanese Garden and a Rose Garden, which are my favorite!

3. Explore downtown Fort Worth, starting with a visit to the Fort Worth Water Gardens, a beautiful urban park that features a series of pools and waterfalls.
Check out the Fort Worth Convention Center and Sundance Square, a bustling entertainment district filled with shops, restaurants, and live music venues.
Take a stroll along the Trinity River Trail, a scenic path that runs along the Trinity River and offers great views of the city skyline.

4. Dedicate one day to see the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge, a 3,600-acre nature preserve with over 20 miles of hiking trails, prairies, and forests.
Go hiking, and birdwatching.

5. Head to Grapevine, a nearby town that’s home to dozens of wineries, breweries, and restaurants.

6. Get out of town for a long but pleasant drive towards the Big Bend Natural Park. It’ll worth to spend a couple of days camping there.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
A very influential person in my life is Panagiotis Chatzistefanou a modern genius artist who is based in Berlin, Germany. Panagiotis has been the creative director for my last two albums released under the project Sons of Faust and this collaboration continues with a third album that is in the works right now and will most probably expant onto other projects as well. He is a “partner in crime”, a tremendous mentor and a great friend.
