Meet Gabriela Juarez | Real Estate Entrepreneur & Airbnb Host

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabriela Juarez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gabriela, how do you think about risk?
Growing up, I always valued stability, which led me to a steady job in the medical industry. It was fulfilling, but I felt a pull toward something more dynamic. On the side, I dipped my toes into real estate, working part-time for a couple of months. The flexibility and potential excited me, but it wasn’t until an opportunity arose to relocate to a new area that I faced a defining moment. The idea of leaving a secure job to pursue real estate full-time was daunting—fear of failure loomed large. Yet, deep down, I knew it was the right move. Taking that leap was transformative. By focusing entirely on real estate, I could fully dedicate myself to my clients and grow my business in ways I hadn’t imagined. That risk became the foundation of my career.
The world of real estate opened my eyes to endless possibilities, sparking a dream I’d long held: creating a unique Airbnb tailored for girls’ trips and bachelorette parties, a space that was unapologetically fun and feminine. I envisioned “The Babe Cave,” a vibrant, girly retreat, but the risks were real—sinking time and money into a project that might not succeed was terrifying. Doubts crept in, but I was fortunate to have unwavering support from my husband and family, who encouraged me to push forward. With their backing, I dove in headfirst, pouring my heart into designing and launching “The Babe Cave.” The gamble paid off. Not only did it resonate with guests, but it also became a testament to the power of embracing risk to chase a vision. Each step, from leaving my medical job to building this dream, has shown me that calculated risks can unlock doors to a life and career beyond what I ever thought possible.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m a real estate entrepreneur and Airbnb host, and at the heart of my business is a deep love for helping others navigate transformative moments in their lives. In real estate, I have the privilege of guiding buyers through one of the biggest decisions they’ll ever make—finding a home that fits their dreams. I’m committed to making that process as smooth and stress-free as possible, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. For my sellers, I’m determined to maximize the value of their home, working tirelessly to get them the best outcome in a competitive market. My clients aren’t just transactions to me; they become friends. I cherish the relationships we build, often staying in touch long after the deal is done, celebrating their milestones as if they were my own. Beyond real estate, I channeled my passion for Interior design and creating joyful experiences into “The Babe Cave,” a unique Airbnb designed for girls’ trips and bachelorette parties, where I help women create unforgettable memories in a space that’s vibrant and welcoming.
My journey to where I am today has been anything but easy, and it still isn’t. Being an entrepreneur means facing challenges every single day, from market fluctuations to the demands of running a business. It requires constant self-motivation, resilience, and the willingness to push yourself even when the odds feel stacked against you. But I’ve learned that the hard work is worth it. The greatest lesson from my journey is that challenges are opportunities in disguise—they’ve taught me to adapt, to trust my instincts, and to keep going even when the path feels uncertain. With the unwavering support of my husband, who always encourages me to dream bigger, I’ve turned risks into realities.
I want the world to know that taking a risk can change your life in ways you never thought possible. Whether it’s starting a business, switching careers, or trying something new, don’t let fear hold you back—you don’t know just how amazing your life can become until you take that leap. I’m living proof that stepping into the unknown can lead to a fulfilling career and a life of purpose. I’m excited to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, and inspiring others to chase their dreams with the same courage and determination that has shaped my story.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting Fort Worth for a week, I’d curate an itinerary that showcases the city’s vibrant culture, delicious food, and unique experiences. We’d start with a peaceful brunch at Press Cafe, where dining outside feels like a serene escape with its beautiful views along the Trinity Trails—perfect for savoring avocado toast and coffee while soaking in the morning calm. No trip to Fort Worth is complete without a visit to the Stockyards, a must-see for its rich history and lively atmosphere. We’d watch the cattle drive, explore the shops, and grab a drink at the Drover Hotel’s bar, where the Western charm and craft cocktails create an unforgettable vibe. For dinner, we’d head to Joe T. Garcia’s, a Fort Worth institution famous for its sprawling outdoor patio and mouthwatering Mexican food—their enchiladas are a crowd-pleaser.
To dive deeper into the city’s offerings, we’d spend a day in the Cultural District, visiting the Kimbell Art Museum for its stunning architecture and world-class exhibits, followed by a stroll through the Fort Worth Botanic Garden to unwind amidst nature. Beer lovers can’t miss Martin House Brewing, so we’d make a stop there to sample their creative, local brews like the Salty Lady or a seasonal sour, enjoying the laid-back taproom and outdoor space with views of the Trinity River. For another dining highlight, we’d check out Heim Barbecue on Magnolia Avenue, where the smoked brisket and bacon burnt ends are legendary, paired with a casual, local vibe. We’d also make time for a night out at The Usual, a speakeasy-style bar known for its creative cocktails and cozy ambiance—perfect for catching up over drinks.
To cap off the week, we’d head to Panther Island for some outdoor fun, renting kayaks to paddle along the Trinity River and enjoy the skyline views. Fort Worth is a city that blends history, culture, and modern flair, and I’d want my friend to leave feeling the same warmth and excitement I do every day living here.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Throughout my journey of taking bold risks and chasing my dreams, my husband has been my unwavering rock, the steady force that has made every leap possible. When I first considered leaving my stable medical career to pursue real estate full-time, fear and uncertainty gripped me. He was who saw the spark in my eyes and encouraged me to trust my instincts. His belief in me was unshakable, even when my own confidence wavered. He’d sit with me late at night, listening to my doubts, then gently push me forward with words of encouragement, reminding me that I was capable of far more than I realized. His support wasn’t just emotional—it was practical, too. He helped me strategize, plan, and navigate the challenges of building a real estate business, always cheering me on as I found my footing in a new world. Without his steadfast presence, I might have stayed in the safety of my comfort zone, never discovering the fulfillment that came with that first big risk.
When the idea for “The Babe Cave” Airbnb began to take shape, it was my husband’s enthusiasm that turned my dream into reality. Creating a girly, bachelorette-focused retreat was a massive undertaking, fraught with financial and emotional risks. I worried about the investment, the time, and the possibility of failure. But my husband never let me dwell in those fears. He was my biggest cheerleader, constantly pushing me to think bigger and bolder. “You’ve got this,” he’d say, his confidence infectious. He rolled up his sleeves alongside me, helping with everything from brainstorming design ideas to tackling the logistics of launching the property. His belief in my vision gave me the courage to dive in fully, even when the stakes felt overwhelming. He’d remind me that taking risks was how we grow, and his optimism became the fuel that kept me going through every challenge.
My husband’s support extends beyond just these moments—it’s a constant in our life together. He has an incredible ability to see my potential, even when I doubt myself, and he’s always nudging me to reach for more. Whether it’s a new business idea, a creative project, or a personal goal, he’s there, challenging me to step outside my comfort zone and embrace the unknown. His encouragement isn’t just about cheering from the sidelines; it’s about being my partner in every sense, sharing the highs and lows and celebrating every milestone. “The Babe Cave” wouldn’t exist without him—not just because of his practical help, but because his belief in me gave me the strength to take that leap. He’s taught me that risks are worth taking when you have someone by your side who believes in you unconditionally, and I’m forever grateful for his love and relentless push to help me become the best version of myself.
