We had the good fortune of connecting with Frank Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Frank, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My brothers and I were very young when we started Taylor Made my oldest brother was 19 and I was 13. My father had trained us to be horsemen and business owners. So we started a boarding farm, with the idea we could grow it into a big farm one day.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m proud that we are a company that has a culture built on faith, hard work, honesty and helping others. Our road to success has not been easy. We were not highly educated in business and we had to learn as we went.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to Keeneland and a dinner at Malones restaurant and DV8 kitchen. Go and Visit Taylor Made farm. Also golfing at thoroughbred golf club and put them up at the Orgin hotel.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My mom and dad, Joe and Mary Taylor deserve tremendous amount of credit.

Also my Wife Kim
