Hi Foreall, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Let’s Be ForeallForeall Podcast began as an idea that evolved into a reality. During a casual conversation with some close friends, they noticed my knack for engaging conversation, my ability to connect with others, and the quality of my voice. This encouragement served as the initial spark. Immediately accompanied by the catchy theme song, “You don’t have to call – By Usher”.

However, I was determined to distinguish myself from other podcasters and blaze a unique trail. I decided to embark on an unconventional path that set me apart from the rest. My vision was to host a podcast/show with approximately 30+ individuals every other Wednesday night, fostering enriching conversations and creating unforgettable experiences.

Moreover, my aspirations extended beyond just personal achievement. I was committed to giving a voice to everyday people and providing a platform for fellow black creatives, including DJs, photographers, videographers, caterers, event specialists, and content creators who might be new to the DFW metroplex. This concept had a profound impact, leading to the formation of new friendships among like-minded individuals and helping them expand their professional networks and clientele.

This concept had a profound impact, leading to the formation of new friendships among like-minded individuals and helping them expand their professional networks and clientele.

Having devoted my wholehearted commitment to bringing my podcast to life, the journey was far from easy. Often, the meticulous behind-the-scenes efforts can go unnoticed, including brainstorming, script writing, venue selection, guest invitations, assembling the production team, setting up the venue, and preparing attire. Balancing these tasks within the tight timeframe of just thirty minutes to an hour, while simultaneously rehearsing lines during makeup sessions, was quite a challenge. Yet, amidst all the anxiety and adrenaline, my ultimate pre-show ritual was a moment of pause and prayer, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to be in this position.

The most crucial lesson I’ve acquired in this industry, and in life as a whole, is to seize the moment. Waiting for the ‘right time’ is a never-ending endeavor, and seeking approval from others can hold you back. Always pour your full effort into everything you do because if you don’t, someone else will.

I hope that when others encounter the ‘ForeallForeall’ brand, they instantly recognize its message: a symbol of boundless possibilities, an unwavering commitment to one’s passions, and the determination to see them through. You never know who might be watching, whether to learn from your journey or to aspire to reach the same heights you’ve achieved.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If a friend of mine were to visit the DFW area, I would strongly recommend they attend a Let’s Be ForeallForeall podcast for a truly unforgettable experience. Additionally, we’d explore the restaurants that have shown their support for the podcast, either for a delicious meal or to enjoy a happy hour.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes, I would like to dedicate my shoutout to a novel called “Unwavering Truth” by myself. This book has helped me reevaluate the journey I’ve traveled so far in life. It reminds me that we may not always be where we want to be, but often, we are exactly where we need to be.
