We had the good fortune of connecting with Estimé Aristomene, Jr. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Estimé, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The spark behind Brain Matched came from years of being the “career whisperer” in my circle. Friends, family, and colleagues constantly came to me for resume rewrites, job search guidance, and career clarity. I loved helping people not just get jobs, but feel seen and land opportunities that aligned with their true potential. Over time, I realized this wasn’t just a personal pattern. It was a widespread problem.

But what truly pushed me to start Brain Matched was a broader realization: the disconnect in the career ecosystem runs deep. Not just for job seekers, but also for employers, recruiters, staffing firms, and career service providers. Everyone is struggling with inefficiencies. Job seekers can’t break through outdated filters. Employers are overwhelmed trying to find the right fit. Recruiters are burning out. Career providers are stretched thin. The whole system feels fragmented.

At the same time, the rise of AI presented an incredible opportunity. Not to replace people, but to reimagine how we match people to purpose more intelligently and inclusively.

With Brain Matched, we’re building a smart, human-centered platform that uses data, AI, and personalized assessments to help individuals understand their career paths, optimize their job search, and grow with clarity. Just as importantly, we’re giving employers, recruiters, and career professionals the tools they need to identify real talent faster, reduce bias, and create stronger outcomes across the board.

Brain Matched isn’t just a tech solution. It’s a mission to solve the friction on both sides of the hiring table and finally build a more equitable, efficient, and empowered future of work.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My career has been anything but linear, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I grew up in New York City, surrounded by grit, diversity, and ambition. That environment shaped my resilience early on and instilled in me a deep respect for hard work and upward momentum.

I spent the past 10 years at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where I held senior leadership roles and helped drive large-scale transformation within the firm’s technology organization. Six years ago, when JPMorgan first launched its new technology center in Dallas, I relocated to Texas to be part of that next chapter. It was a bold move, but one that broadened my perspective, challenged my comfort zone, and helped me grow as both a professional and a person.

Throughout my career, I found myself consistently being the person people turned to for help navigating their own. Whether it was rewriting resumes, preparing for interviews, or offering career strategy, I realized the support I was offering one-on-one was highlighting something bigger. Our current career ecosystem is outdated, fragmented, and often stacked against the very people it’s supposed to serve.

In May of this year, I made the decision to resign and go all in on building Brain Matched. I founded the company not just to help job seekers—but to address the friction felt across the entire hiring landscape. Brain Matched is a career technology platform that uses AI, data, and personalized guidance to connect talent with opportunity in a way that is inclusive, efficient, and built for the future of work.

We’re not just solving for job seekers. We’re creating meaningful solutions for employers, recruiters, staffing agencies, and career service providers who need better tools to find, engage, and elevate talent.

The journey hasn’t always been easy. Like any entrepreneur, I’ve faced uncertainty and moments of doubt. But I’ve learned that progress requires faith, vision, and relentless execution. It requires listening more than speaking and never losing sight of why you started.

If there’s one thing I want the world to know about me or my brand, it’s this: Brain Matched exists to serve. To bridge the gap. To help more people be seen, hired, and valued. It’s not just a company. It’s the culmination of everything I’ve learned—and everything I believe is possible.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting Dallas for a week, I’d make sure they experienced the perfect blend of sophistication, culture, and local charm that makes this city so special.

We’d kick things off in Highland Park, a beautiful area that offers luxury shopping, art galleries, and refined dining. Whether we’re grabbing a bite at Bistro 31 or strolling through Highland Park Village, it’s the perfect introduction to Dallas elegance.

Next, we’d head north to The Star in Frisco, where I’d show them the dynamic energy of one of the fastest-growing areas in the metroplex. We’d explore the shops, catch a live event if one’s happening, and end the evening with craft cocktails at Snowbird Cocktail Lounge & Kitchen, a personal favorite of mine for its vibe, music, and ambiance.

No trip would be complete without a dinner at Al Biernat’s in North Dallas. It’s a Dallas institution for a reason. The food, the service, the atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that makes a lasting impression.

Throughout the week, we’d also carve out time to explore the Dallas Design District, which always sparks inspiration. From modern art to boutique furniture, it’s a neighborhood that blends creativity and style in a way that reflects the city’s evolving spirit.

Whether we’re dining, exploring, or just soaking in the energy of the city, Dallas never disappoints. It’s a place that continues to grow and surprise, and I’d be proud to show anyone what makes it so magnetic.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to every single person who ever trusted me with their story: their resume, their career journey, their leap of faith. From close friends and family to colleagues and even distant connections, you may not have realized it at the time, but you helped shape the foundation for what would later become Brain Matched.

Each resume I reviewed wasn’t just a document. It was a window into someone’s hopes, challenges, and potential. The trust you placed in me revealed a deeper need in the world for smarter, more empathetic tools to support people through life’s transitions.

You showed me the gaps, the patterns, and the pain points. And in doing so, you gave me the clearest signal that a company like Brain Matched needed to exist. Not just as a business, but as a solution to an age-old problem that deserved a better answer.

So thank you for your trust, your vulnerability, and your stories. This mission was born out of you.
