We had the good fortune of connecting with Esteban Blanco and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Esteban, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I feel like the the most important factor behind it was hard work. I was very fortunate to have people around me that own businesses that sat me down and “showed me the ropes.” One of them even showed me his business plan and taught me how to do a business plan like his. Another one had coffee with me and taught me the fundamentals. After all these men and women sowed into me and showed me what I needed to do, I set out to work very hard, provide the absolute best customer service possible and give my clients the absolute best we have. I say to my guys “there is an I.T. way of doing things, and then there is the Blanco I.T. way of doing things” and that at the end of the day is trying to achieve excellence every single day.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Blanco I.T. was founded to provide affordable and convenient technical support for individuals and small businesses. We bring over two decades of industry experience to the table and pride ourselves on maintaining professional certifications that demonstrate our expertise. We connect with the best computer and technology providers to create a comprehensive product and services portfolio for our clients. We are most proud of how we approach our clients trying to achieve excellence every single day. Hard work has been paying off for a while now. It was not easy at first. When you open your own business and that next month you don’t get a paycheck it can be a little of an uneasy feeling but perseverance does the trick. I started the company with no money and no debt. I am proud to say we are still debt free and our books look healthy. Our brand we want it to be remembered and known as The Right Advice When It Really Matters. We also want to be a synonym of absolute excellence every time someone thinks of us.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would proudly show them Arlington Texas. My city is amazing. It is truly the American Dream City. I would take them on a tour of AT&T stadium, Globe Life Field, Texas Live, the Levitt Pavilion. I would have to take them also to Legal Draft Beer and 4Kahuna Tiki Lounge in downtown. We would most likely eat at Mercury Chop House, Thai Texas, Omi Korean or have the best tacos at GTO Tacos. The most fun I have is meeting my friends for a nice dinner and being able to talk to them and see how they are doing.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are a lot of people that deserve credit. I had many that helped me get started so it would be unfair to name them because I will forget some for sure. But one person believed in the idea before it was one and that is Heather. She supported and encouraged me to do this and without her support, Blanco I.T would not be a reality today.
