We had the good fortune of connecting with Esma Elmerini and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Esma, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I was born and raised in the Netherlands My family is originally from Morocco, my family are all Muslims. My dad taught me about hijama wet cupping therapy, as it’s part of Islamic and prophetic medicine.
My dad didn’t believe in conventional medicine and I inherited those ideologies and therefore holistic healing became part of my life

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Not only do I treat others but educate them about many ways to prevent ailments, reverse ailments, healing body as a whole , we discuss physical and metaphysical ailments

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Definitely eat from different cuisines, have coffee and dessert from different cuisines as well I’m all about diversity and learning from other cultures

I love nature, and walks and lakes so that’s where I would hang out

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My dad for teaching me about this therapy, the Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him as he recommended mankind to have this therapy done
