Hi Elvi Mariana, what is the most important factor behind your success?

Since opening, Cinnaholic Arlington has consistently ranked as one of the top-performing stores in the U.S. and Canada, and we’ve proudly held the #1 position in Texas for almost five years. Guests appreciate that everything we make is 100% plant-based and crafted with premium ingredients — it’s indulgence without compromise.

I believe that success comes from being intentional — thinking beyond the product itself. Every day, I remind my team: it’s not just about baking a cinnamon roll; it’s about creating moments. Ask yourself — what does our guest need today? How can we brighten their day? How can we connect with them on a personal level? That mindset turns simple transactions into meaningful experiences, and that’s the real secret behind our success.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Cinnaholic Arlington is a gourmet vegan bakery specializing in customizable cinnamon rolls made from scratch, using 100% plant-based ingredients. Every guest can build their own roll by choosing from a variety of frostings and toppings, turning a simple treat into a personal creation.
What sets us apart is the heart behind what we do. For us, it’s not just about cinnamon rolls — it’s about creating moments. Seeing a family laugh together, or someone smile after a long day, reminds us why we started this journey. That connection, that joy, is what makes our bakery special.
I’m most proud of how far we’ve come. Since opening almost five years ago, Cinnaholic Arlington has consistently been one of the top-performing locations in the U.S. and Canada and the #1 store in Texas. But beyond numbers, I’m proud of the relationships we’ve built — with our guests, our community, and our team.
The road hasn’t been easy. Starting a business in a new country, during uncertain times, came with many challenges. There were moments of fear and doubt, but also incredible learning and growth. I learned the importance of resilience, adaptability, and leading with purpose.
What I want the world to know about our story is that passion and kindness are powerful forces. When you do things with heart — when you genuinely care about people — success follows naturally.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting Arlington for a week, I’d start by surprising them with breakfast made by me — the best food in the world, a homemade Venezuelan arepa! There’s no better way to start the day than with good coffee, laughter, and a little taste of my culture.
Of course, I’d definitely take them to Cinnaholic Arlington to live the full experience — warm gourmet rolls, friendly smiles, and I’d challenge them to try our 10-Second Challenge! I wouldn’t be surprised if they hit it on the first try — they’re pretty quick!
Then we’d explore Downtown Arlington to enjoy the murals, local shops, and community vibe. One day we’d visit AT&T Stadium or Globe Life Field for the full Arlington experience, and another day we’d relax at River Legacy Park surrounded by nature.
Over the weekend, we’d go to Dallas Farmers Market, maybe spend the evening in Deep Ellum for live music, and finish with dinner and sunset views at Trinity Groves.
What I love most about this area is how it blends cultures and flavors — just like my story. It’s a place where people from everywhere come together, and that’s what makes Arlington feel like home.

I want to dedicate my shoutout to everyone who believes that kindness, purpose, and good food can change the world — my family, my team, and the Cinnaholic community.
