Meet Elizabeth Jeffcoat

We had the good fortune of connecting with Elizabeth Jeffcoat and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Elizabeth, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
The heart behind Resonate Roots is to help people remember they are not alone in their stress, their struggles, or their healing. So many in our community—whether it’s first responders, busy parents, or business leaders—are carrying more than their nervous systems were designed to hold. I know from my own journey what it feels like to live in survival mode, and I also know the freedom of finding tools that bring you back to balance.
Through breathwork, sound therapy, and community gatherings, I get to offer those tools in a safe and welcoming space. It’s about helping people release what’s been weighing them down, reconnect with themselves, and discover resilience they didn’t know they had.
When one person finds calm, it ripples out—to their family, to their workplace, and even to our broader community. That’s how I see Resonate Roots making a difference: one nervous system at a time, planting seeds of resilience that grow into stronger, healthier communities

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets Resonate Roots apart is the way I combine science and soul. My own journey through stress and healing gives me empathy, and the science gives me credibility. Together, they allow me to meet people where they are and help them move toward resilience.
I’m most excited about watching lives transform—seeing someone walk in carrying the weight of stress and walk out with a new lightness, calm, and sense of possibility. Every time someone tells me, ‘I finally feel like myself again,’ it reminds me why I do this. I’m also excited about the possibility of bringing these tools to first responders and workplaces. The ripple effect of healing one nervous system doesn’t stop with that person—it impacts families, teams, and entire communities.
I’ve learned that healing is not linear, and that people don’t need to be ‘fixed’—they need to be supported. Stress and trauma live in the body, but so does resilience. Along the way I’ve discovered that slowing down, listening deeply, and creating safety is often the most powerful medicine. And personally, I’ve learned to trust my own voice and step out in faith, even when the path isn’t fully clear.
I want people to know that Resonate Roots is about more than wellness sessions—it’s about planting seeds of resilience that can transform lives. My story comes from a place of both personal struggle and hope: I know what it feels like to live in survival mode, and I also know what it feels like to come back home to yourself. That’s what I want Resonate Roots to represent for the world: a reminder that you are enough, that healing is possible, and that by tending to our roots, we create strength that resonates outward into our families, workplaces, and communities

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love quiet quality time with my best friend. Sometimes that means strolling the Square in Celina, window shopping and treating ourselves to a nice lunch at HeyDay. Other times it looks like a spa day—Angel Message Therapy, sauna and cryo at Climb PT & Wellness, or even relaxing with the hydro pod and a spray tan at Sunlit Sensations. And honestly, some of my favorite moments are simply spent at home, cooking together and enjoying each other’s company.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Rachel Sims: owner of Breath By Design and Uncomplicated Therapy.
One person who has had a profound impact on me is Dr. Rachel Sims. She recognized and nurtured potential in me long before I could see it in myself. She invested her time, spoke encouragement into my life, and ultimately gave me the courage to take a leap of faith into this work. Her belief in me has been a steady reminder that sometimes others can see our strengths more clearly than we can, and that encouragement can truly change the course of a life
