We had the good fortune of connecting with Ebon’Nae Faith Bradley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ebon’Nae Faith, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Staying authentic to my core values, my faith, and prayer.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a doula trainer & faith-based coach.

I train doulas seeking to become highly skilled as birth professionals from an organization with faith-based core values.

I started out as a natural birth advocate and community breastfeeding counselor after the VBAC birth of my son in 2010. I became a certified childbirth educator and lay doula in 2014. I later trained as a doula in 2016. Became a belly binding specialist, certified woman’s wellness herbalist, and Placenta specialist & trainer.

Over a year ago, I launched Dallas Royal Doulas, DFW’s 1st Black owned doula agency. This afforded me the opportunity to train new doulas and conduct 1:1 & group business coaching and mentoring with my team.

Growing and evolving from a birth worker to a doula trainer and coach has been a natural progression of walking by faith and obeying God’s instructions.

With over a decade of experience, I’m excited to now be able to train up the next generation of Christian doulas.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love to eat good healthy food, spoken word, exercising, & be in places Gods spirit is present. I’d try out some of the new vegan restaurants. Visit all the local attractions in my neighborhood first then visit downtown Dallas. Go to some Poetry spots,  and definitely visit my church Liberate Dallas.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank God for always being my provider and protector and leading me on the journey of entrepreneurship & my 4 boys for being my daily motivation. I’m very blessed to have many trailblazers, mentors, and supporters that inspire me in my field. Personally, my siblings are amazing morale support especially my sister Tracey Vandyke and brother Juloane Cox. Then I want to shout out prophetess Shari Eddington for being such wise Godly encouragement and counsel to me during this past year.
