We had the good fortune of connecting with Dubie D and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dubie, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success/brand is getting out of my comfort zone and accomplishing the things I thought was so far fetch doing it all independent with little to no help

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m most proud of my growth, I’ve grown so much over the years that also shows in my art. The way I’ve gotten to where I am is taking chances and leading with love followed by faith, I still have work to do but along the way it wasn’t easy but it’s been worth it. A valuable lesson I’ve learned is it’s 24 hrs in a day wake up early and get to the money before your peers. I never knew my next move but I have a faith that move mountains that’s what keep me grounded

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If you come to Dallas TX I’m definitely inviting you to Williams chicken & Rudy’s, followed by downtown night life

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost God, my brother has played a big part n my mentorship just watching him get things done motivate me.
