We had the good fortune of connecting with Donnetria Eltionea and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Donnetria, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to create my own work environment. Making my own schedule and being in full control allows me to reach for the stars, make unlimited money and controlling my overhead. Plus I will have something to pass down to my kids.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I write life. What I see and how I interpret it. Poetry, stories, quotes, inspiration, frustration …. I don’t discriminate. I let it all out unfiltered and unapologetic!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love to explore and check out new spots. So we would start with a scenic trip on the train, downtown, uptown and to a couple museums. Try some new food. Day two I would show off our great parks and lakes. They are always a must see. I like to hike, have lunch and share my experiences with my friends. Happy hour is always a great place to mingle so day three would include a bit of the night life. I love the arcade bar… PCs man and margaritas are the best. Plus they have a full menu with happy hour options. I usually get the hummus tray. Day four we can do some swimming and hit the lake on the boat. I like the kayaks and all the water activities. Subway style lunch. Day five we can cook out and relax at home with games and more friends over before we depart.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My mom gave and constantly gives me life. She molded me and taught me to stand strong in my beliefs and reach for every star. She is a true hero who always put her kids first. She represents true unconditional love! ❤️💕
