We had the good fortune of connecting with De’Qualis Waites and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi De’Qualis, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
The amount of total funding available for us to use to create generational wealth. Many don’t have a clue of where to even start.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Being one who is the first to stick his neck out and take the risk to help others. Many say they’re leaders but they pick and choose what they want to lead but I step up to each challenge being the first in line. I understand that many won’t take that step but with my motivation and education I can help them get to the next level. Of course it’s not easy but I made it look “Too Easy!” I’ve never had the thought of quitting. I knew that one day it’ll pay off. Maybe playing sports helped me with the winning spirit and energy I have. To know the game isn’t over until the last second of the last quarter. I got here by steady networking, creating new strategies that many can benefit from and being resourceful. Having leverage to bring to the table makes you valuable with any group. I’ve learned that you have to create the life style you want. It’s out here and it’s attainable but you have to connect or align yourself with the right key players. I’d like the world to know that I gave everything in me to help others make the world a better place. I believe if I help one they’ll help many more, so continue helping.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d start by taking them by my investment properties to show them how much we have access to.

Then I’d take them to eat at Wings World or another black owned restaurant that I support, such as a Mary’s Kitchen.

After that, I’d take them to some of my networking spots. Not just in Dallas it could be in Rowlette but I’d make sure I get them around other individuals who share common interests.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The Business Doctor! I have to shout out the man who also help change my life. With his wisdom and guidance he helped me make another million dollars plus! Not only that the knowledge I have now has enhanced my circle of network. I’m very grateful!
