We had the good fortune of connecting with Denise Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Denise, what are you inspired by?
I am inspired by the way Music makes me feel. How there is art in everything and how sound and visual affects can change the way your spirit feels.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I knew I was gifted a very young age. The way people reacted to my Gift of song showed me that. I found very early on that I was a gifted to heal through music and song. My unique talent sets me apart from every other talented person. Understanding that I can only do what I do allowed me to always be gracious and appreciate other talents and my own. I am most proud of my spiritual accomplishments learning to love myself unconditionally no matter what others may think has helped me become bold in my pursuit of happiness. I am excited about my future because I can see the beauty in it. Because I see a beautiful prosperous future for myself I work hard everyday to get to new heights believing in myself and the Power of God has helped me accomplish many of my dreams and the same beliefs and work will help me accomplish them all. When I am feeling down I like to look at my Vision board to see where it is I am going and to see all of the wonderful things I’ve accomplished so far! The biggest lesson I’ve learned on my path to success is ( you are what you believe you are) and that’s the only truth that matters. I want the world to know what it is that I know . And I know that I am here to spread the Joy of music and the arts. And to love. Come and be lost with me in the Joy of music

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had to court a friend for a week I’d take them for sure to fuel city in Dallas in my opinion the best street Tacos you’ll ever Eat. I’d take them to see a show at Jubilee Theater located in the beautiful downtown Fortworth they have some of the most talented singers actors and actresses performing for their company I am apart of the beautiful Jubilee family . I’d take them to Pappadeaux for sure and hit up the New arts distract in Arlington.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this shout out to every single person who has helped me and encouraged me along my journey. I wouldn’t be here With out each Angel God strategically placed in my life to love me push me forward and lift me up.
