Be the best You, that You can be It means be the best version of yourself that you can be at all times.
I think living life with a positive attitude, doing the right thing at all times and always reaching for the stars is important. Doing the right thing all the times even when no-one is looking, is called INTEGRITY. My wife and I and kids run our business with constant integrity.

What should our readers know about your business?
Mabank Barber Supply Co was dreamed of a while back while attending a barber show in East Texas. I love Barbering and love all the new tools that come out and trying new products that can potentially give my clients a better experience during their service. So I love looking for Barber supply shops and cool Barber shops to visit. While in deep East Texas, I Googled Barber supply near me. just then I realize there isn’t any in East Texas. Being business minded, I thought, this could be a great opportunity to supply and help all the Barbers in East Texas get their supplies easier. And Have a place close by that they could come see all the new products on the market. And also make some money along the way.
It took me about a year to finalize everything and get it up and running, but here we are doing what we dreamed. We have hired sales reps to drive to every Barber shop, salon and school within an hour from our store. We can take an order and deliver just about anything barber related. AS this story started, I was attending a Barber show/class, so we love education as well. we are offering educational classes and shows. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Mabank Barber Supply is Located in Mabank, Texas. Our biggest attraction is Cedar Creek Lake. We are a tourist town during the warmer months for sure. There is lots of things to to do while on the Lake. Boating, fishing riding jet skis and swimming. Our area has some great places to relax and enjoy some great food. If you like BBQ, B4 Barbecue and Boba is the best you’ll find. If it’s the lake you like looking at, Vernon’s will not disappoint. have a nice meal while listening to great music right on the like during sunset will calm the gremlins. Another town favorite is BNR Country in Mabank. The environment is perfect to watch the game with some friend while having some of the best food around and sipping on your favorite cocktail.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My Mom and My wife both are Cosmetologist. My Mom (Jan Rumsey), has been in the industry for many many years. My wife (Tessa Clark), has been a cosmetologist for 13 yrs. Both are successful in their own right and have influenced our decision making from the get go. My mom came to us a few years back asking if we wanted to purchase the Beauty Salon she worked at because the owner was going to close it down after COVID had it shut down for a while. we said yes and had the 7 girls back at work the next day. over the next few months, we remodeled and replaced all the equipment in there. We hired a few Barbers to join the team and they all happen to be firemen also. so we decided to call that section of the shop “The Barber Station”. Like “fire station”. LOL! That being said, I went to Barber college to fill the chair while the guys were working at the station.
Long story short, I fell in love with Barbering so much that I wanted to go big with a Barber shop. So we built on to our shop and doubled the number of chairs to 16. 8 barbers and 8 cosmos. Leslie Smith was my inspiration during school. We love her to death! I so wanted to make her proud! She’s been the wind beneath my wings this whole time. she gave me the passion for what I do and showed me that there is no limit to what this industry can provide if you work hard enough.
