We had the good fortune of connecting with Dasia Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dasia, how do you think about risk?
Risk taking is one of the most important aspects of being an Entrepreneur. Without taking risk, you’ll eliminate your ability to accomplish your full potential. I constantly take risks but not without planning and setting deadlines and expectations. Once the risk have proven unsuccessful, I eliminate it and plan further to make the risk reach its full capability. A risk without a plan is just a blind risk but a risk that is well thought through can lead to success.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I Am A realtor, investor and credit repair specialist who has a passion to be great for not only me and my family but for each and every client that utilizes my services. What sets me aside from others is the level of service and the way that I cater to each client. My work ethic, persistence, drive and the way I care about all, allows me to be the best that I can be and the results are the reward. My clients become my burden and I handle every burden with perfection. As for me, my ultimate goal is to own the next brokerage company that is the face of the industry.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Day 1, I would have them picked up at the airport, transport them to their Hotel to get settled. Based on their need to get settled, I will then have them picked up for brunch, lunch or dinner depending on the time of day. I would plan brunch at RH Gallery Dinner at Eddie V’s, Nick & Sams or Perry’s Steak House , EBB & Flo or Sugar Factory for some drinks and a little uptown and Deep Ellum for some nightlife and wind down time. It’s a seven day trip so, there’s plenty of areas not mentioned that can be touched but for starters, these are my choices.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I want to shout out to my Husband. He makes this journey easier just by the support that he gives me daily. I couldn’t leave out my family because of all of the support, wisdom, motivational talks and ideas that they give. Reading books like “The Alchemist”, My Pastor who is one of the greatest motivational and spiritual leaders to walk the earth, Pastor T.D. Jakes has been such a huge part of my drive to be successful and Above all, my faith in God who strengthens me to be who I Am. Without out all of these, my journey would truly be different and for them all, I’m grateful.
