We had the good fortune of connecting with Darius Bradford and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Darius, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I knew that I wanted to be my own boss since I was 12yrs old. I’ve always stood out from the rest and I was gifted with a very mature mindset for a young man. When I finally took the step, I had been rejected from taking vacation from my 9-5 to go and see my son for his birthday all the way in North Carolina. I had saved up leave days and worked hard to financially take care of my responsibilities only to get denied on taking my first vacation. I knew at that point that I didn’t want anyone every telling me I can’t do something, especially spend time with my loved ones.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Having a combined skillset that ranges from Music Production, songwriting, video production, and photography, gives me a huge advantage when it come to the clients I work with. knowing in depth information about the content I’m filming or recording allows me to really give my clients exactly what the are seeking and then some! I most proud of how far I’ve come since I took the leap of faith towards my destiny. The growth is continuous as I learn more and work with clients whom have innovative and creative visions for the services they are requesting. I’ve learned that everyone won’t like what you do and that’s ok because there are plenty who are going to love it, just find your audience. My brand of businesses are built on integrity, respect, and dedication . Using my knowledge, and skillset to aid others with their visions and goals is all I want to do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I don’t get out too much but I will say that Deep Ellum is a great start. Depends on outside or inside as well lol

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, my mother has been my biggest supporter since day 1. Other colleagues and friends include Donald Johnson with Kommon Ground Band, Nicc Jones with his clothing brand #DLROLWEHT, and Gaylon Jones with Crown Jones Productions. There are more but I’ll keep it short for now.
