We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Page and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danielle, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
We were a general contracting company and through our experience working with homeowners, designers and contractors, we felt that there needed to be a place like ours. We spent a lot of time meeting clients at numerous showrooms all over the metroplex to help them make choices for their renovation projects, but no single place had a great assortment of all the categories that we needed to cover. Because of this, the selections process was very lengthy and homeowners seemed to get burnt out on their own projects. In our minds the selections process should be the fun part and we want to help keep it that way. We have tried to develop a showroom that is welcoming to anyone working on a project, whether it be a homeowner, designer, contractor, or builder and customize our service for how each of them likes to work.
What should our readers know about your business?
As our name suggests, Everybody’s Got A Project knows that everybody has some type of project they are working on or working toward to customize their home. We have gone to great lengths to curate a unique selection from many different categories, from flooring and tile to cabinets and countertops to lighting and plumbing fixtures. We have cultivated relationships with numerous manufacturers and distributors all over the country to bring a great assortment to our customers, all in one place. We can work directly with homeowners or can work alongside the contractors and/or designers working on a project. We let our customers decide how and how much they’d like us to help guide them through the process. Our ultimate goal is to make sure that they feel comfortable and confident in their project plans and know that they have a place to come if they have any questions. We have worked on some very complicated and lengthy projects ourselves, including the opening of our own showroom, so we can relate to the complexities that a homeowner or business owner might face in working on renovations. We have a great network of industry professionals that helped us through the years and we’d like to pay it forward.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Although I have lived in the area for almost 25 years, it is constantly changing and I am generally working on projects, so I don’t personally go out that much. However, I am open to suggestions and I’ll bring my friend.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There are a lot of people that helped to get our brand new showroom open. Everbody’s Got A Project would be nowhere if it weren’t for the efforts of both of my amazing business partners, Melinda Page and Stephanie Knibbs, or without the support and help of our families with a special thanks to my husband, Warnie Meisetschleager, and Stephanie’s husband, Richard Knibbs. We have also been very fortunate to have amazing vendor partners that have gone above and beyond to support us and we’d like to thank them all.
