Meet Danielle Hall | Videographer & Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Hall and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Danielle, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I love creating art from a piece of paper of an idea and bringing to life on camera. Visuals are a big part of art and I love the stories and meaning behind what the artist is trying say through the lens! Getting lost in your imagination sometimes is the best therapy when times get tough.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
When it comes to my art and my brand I feel like it’s original why I name my brand New Originals. I like to create trends not follow them so I strive to be authentically new and original. I’m most proud that I’ve been able to work with a lot of creative people and I left an impact on them. I feel like I inspire others to push their creativity and a real artist loves that. It wasn’t easy for me in the beginning I had a really rough start. The major issues I faced was financial support and a solid foundation to keep me going when times got rough. But it taught me how to handle business and keep going no matter how hard it gets cause it will be worth it in the end. I had to overcome learning how to effectively communicate with others and execute properly. I’ve learned to be gentle with myself, praise myself when I get a win, and just be me without hurting anyone. When people hear the name New Originals is that being yourself can get you far. Wouldn’t you rather be the original than a remake?

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my friends from Los Angeles came and visit me I would take them to Texas Roadhouse of course, then I would take them uptown to some of the clubs to dance and get drinks. I would also take them to Deep Ellum to explore some of the food places and clubs because it’s a big part of my success story. I would also take them to the Dallas Museum and Klyde Warren Park in Downtown Dallas. The list goes on

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout the Drew In The City for always supporting me and taking a chance on me with trusting his art. I would also like to shoutout to World Class Members Only yeah you know who you are. Thanks for your support much appreciated always love. Last but not least I wanna shoutout to my mama for always pushing me even know she’s not here her spirit and lessons has keep me alive.
