We had the good fortune of connecting with Dacia McGee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dacia, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I truly was very hesitate starting my own business. It’s SCARY. Will it thrive?? Will it fail?? There are so many what if’s!! BUT! My husband was so encouraging! And gave me the courage to be my own boss and start my own business.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets me apart from others??? I truly care for and love the kiddos. I want them to THRIVE. Physically. Emotionally. And socially. Through play. Joy. Love. And all the things. Oh to be a kid again. I love the joy and excitement that these kids show while playing on out equipment.

For those that may not be familiar with my business- we are a soft play rental business! For birthday parties and play dates! Geared for ages 1-5 years old! With toys/equipment/mini bounces houses geared for the ages 1-5.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would say we would grab brunch at Seven mile cafe! In Denton texas! Then from there we would go dentoning! We would visit the comic book ship! Retro book store! Ice cream shop! And have a picnic lunch on the square! Simple yet authentic!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shout out moment goes out to my husband! He is my biggest cheerleader of all time! And my true partner and team mate! I wouldn’t be able to do all that I do without him!!
