We had the good fortune of connecting with Cynthia Nevels and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cynthia, how does your business help the community?
Start.Pivot.Grow., powered by Integrality, LLC, is a Dallas-based Business and Innovation Accelerator which focuses on helping small business owners launch, pivot, and grow. Our mission is to provide the necessary education, technical assistance, and resources to help entrepreneurs achieve their goals.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Integrality, LLC is a business management consulting firm that specializes in providing technical assistance that goes beyond basic business advising. We roll up my sleeves, kick off my stilettos, hold your hand and pull you across the finish line to help you build a 6 to 7-figure business. Integrality offers data analytics, system design and implementation, operations management, and product marketing and management solutions to high growth companies looking to get unstuck and forge ahead to reach their goals. Integrality produces results for our government agencies, small businesses and high growth firms we serve.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I work long hours but I love to entertain and enjoy my time with family and friends. There are a couple of spots in the city of Dallas that are my regular spots. I love Klyde Warren Park in downtown Dallas. The food, the family friendly environment and the water fountains create a fun and enjoyable experience that great for date night, family night or a night on the town with friends. As a vegan, aside from my own restaurants, Soulgood, a couple of my favorite places to eat are Vegan Food House or Casa del Vegano owned by Chef Liz in Bishop Arts. The food is spectacular, the mood is always a vibe, and to know I am supporting a local small business gives me great joy.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Cristin Thomas Sr. Director of Small Business and Entrepreneur Innovation

Cristin and I have been friends and business colleagues for over 7 years. We work well together in executing strategies to help local businesses thrive by creating an equitable space to promote economic growth and development particularly for business concerns located in underutilized communities. She is a good person and solid leader.
