We had the good fortune of connecting with Crystal Sinclair and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Crystal, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Yes we are. Grace Women’s Organization is a nonprofit on a mission to help moms be mentally, physically and spiritually healthy. We provide free  programs such as wellness workshops, self-care activities, family engagement events and even on-site childcare, all designed to equip women with the tools and resources to take charge of their health and well-being.

At Grace, we believe that by supporting and nurturing mom’s mental, physical and spiritual health, she will be better prepared to tackle the many responsibilities in her life and able to cultivate healthier, stronger relationships with her children and others.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My focus right now is growing our organization and serving women and their families the best way we possibly can. I started this organization in 2020 during the pandemic. Moms had more on their plates than ever before. We began with online workshops to simply start the conversation and help women find safe spaces to express themselves. This year, with people feeling more comfortable attending onsite events, we have experienced exponential growth.

It’s just amazing the things that come from a group of women coming together to share their stories, and how their journeys can inspire so many others. The opportunity to be seen and heard and connect with other women who understand, is what fuels our programs. Our workshops allow women to be vulnerable and embrace tools to help them live, grow and thrive in all aspects of their lives.

Our vision is that every mom can live a full, present life, not hindered by burnout, anxiety or routine. We want every woman to feel whole and empowered and have the ability to show her children and others in her life what a healthy sense of well-being looks like, building generations of healthy, strong families. So, yes serving women, helping them feel seen and heard keeps me pretty busy.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One thing I enjoy about DFW is the fact that we have two of everything. There are two zoos, two downtowns, twice the museums and more. When people come to town, I like to start with a driving tour of downtown Dallas. We cruise through Deep Ellum, sharing the history of the area, JFK memorial, Reunion Tower and Victory Park. We also visit the stockyards and if we’re lucky, catch the cattle drive. Afterwards, we explore the restaurant scene.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Our small and mighty organization is steadily growing every day, thanks to the support and generosity of individuals and businesses in our community. I’d like to thank those who give their time, share their resources and knowledge to help us advance our mission. In addition, I would like to recognize my grandmother who constantly reminded me, a wife and mom of 3, to take care of myself, to pour into myself, so I can be the best of me for my family. I realize that this doesn’t always come naturally, and many women simply don’t have the time, resources, or even energy to tend to their well-being. The reality is that most mothers are so busy taking care of their loved ones that they unintentionally neglect their own health. I am so thankful for these conversations and the grace of God, without them Grace would not be here today striving to change that narrative.
