We had the good fortune of connecting with Cristina Reyna and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cristina, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Creating video content started out as a fun creative outlet for myself. I’ve always been the person recording every moment to reflect on later. Having memories is what fills my soul with happiness.
Whether I’m exploring on vacation or trying new food, I’m going to record and document it. It’s my passion to create something to look back on and appreciate the moment all over again.

I was at a local brunch spot in Dallas and met a micro influencer and she gave me simple words of advice, “You’re going to record it (food, travel, etc.) anyway, might as well document it.”
I was at the right place at the right time. That was the final kick that I needed.
After two years of learning more and more about editing video, taking better photos and just learning my style, I decided to create something for myself.
I created Golden Vida Media Management in 2023. I am still growing and still learning as a Latina content creator.
My goal is to help local businesses gain prominence in the digital world.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I create videos that feature local restaurants, coffee shops, and of my vacations. I’m set apart because I feature my genuine personality and don’t always fall into trends.
Whether it’s funny to the average person, I couldn’t care less, if it makes me smile, I create it, I post it.
I’m proud of myself because I built up the courage to fulfill what I truly love to do.
We all have visions but only a few actually keep it pushing and turn visions into dreams.
It’s not easy, it takes time to edit, tweak this tweak that. Each video created is a new opportunity to learn something new and get better. I’ve learned you can’t always please everyone…as long as you know you gave the situation 100% that’s what matters at the end of the day. Your efforts.
I want everyone to know that I support local POC businesses. Our communities don’t always have resources others do, I want to help bridge the gap. I want to help expand small businesses for my lovely POC community.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
