We had the good fortune of connecting with Crashed Out and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Crashed, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
It’s a process to get lost in. When you are working on a project, nothing from the personal life side matters or anything else that happened that day. Everyone has their own version of how they express themselves and doing whatever that hobby or past time is and we tend to get lost in the process of what we are doing. Same thing with basketball and football players.
Once it’s game time, nothing else matters until its 4th quarter 0:00 in the timer. Except in music and media there is no rush except for meeting deadlines but personal projects can lift the weight of the world off your shoulders and and you take a deep breath before you start to execute your greatness.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My consistency with my music production has opened up a number of doors for me. God and music has completely led the way for me during my journey and doing something for over a decade is never easy but its something special if it stretches that long and continues to open up doors for me till this day. I’ve learned that everyone will get their time to shine as they continue to build up the catalog, staying consistent on perfecting your craft and showing appreciation learning from others success instead of wondering how they made it with the thought of, “he/she/they don’t deserve it” when nothing is promised to anyone it takes a lot of patience, discipline, character, sacrfice, and dedication to truly reach the next level. Also, it’s not that I want the world to know, the world will have no choice but to see my work and how far I’ve come cause once you’re getting paid by Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys to do photography at the AT&T stadium. Truly a blessing with a lot more coming just from that alone.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Coming to Texas for a vist to experience the culture can be life changing. From the AT&T stadium to American Airlines center for sports, food and live music from the biggest acts today or taking a trip through Deep Ellum to for local talent in the city and the the best food places that aren’t a chained franchise. Especially once you learn the secret word at the candy shop. Or heading to Arlington for Six Flags amusement park one of the most legendary places to visit and enjoying frozen yogurt from yogurt land. My favorite spot to eat in Dallas is Texas De Brazil, my goodness that place is amazing and the sugar factory. Cidercade is a great place for gaming and drinks, the Galleria Mall in Dallas for the finest shopping experience or The Parks Mall in Arlington, so much to experience and try out and to close out, this is Texas. Come on down to the Texas gun show and buy your next firearm, Texas is a gun friendly state and everyone has one.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Russell Lopez, founder of Let The Beat Build. He setup the program to structure music production for kids elementary level and up. He hired me as a music teacher to teach kids through DISD how to produce music during an afterschool program. It’s been an amazing journey and having that on my resume led me to do photography at the AT&T stadium for the Dallas Cowboys home games and music concerts. Being a teacher helped me become more comfortable with taking center stage as a public speaker with all eyes on me with a positive attitude which in return, help me become a great photographer letting my presence in known and executing at a high level. Shoutout to spaceboifresh for helping me land the teaching job
