We had the good fortune of connecting with Coco Monét and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Coco, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
My goal is to providing women with their best bra. We are all aware of how breasts change and tissue loss happens to millions of ladies here in the world. Being a breast cancer survivor, I’ve experienced first hand the complications of this and in dedication to all the strong survivors around the world, Lady Satori is taking action in providing FancyCups for breast augmentation and mastectomy patients with stylish garments after surgery that would give them assurance and optimistic.
I will like to continue education to be certified mastectomy fitter through the Board. Later schooling for Paramedical Areola Reconstruction Tattooing and provide this service for my clients.
In next couple years open up a Boutique with all the service for post mastectomy/augmentation. One stop shop/service for breast care and fashion.
Here and all, our main focus is to spiral medical and fashion into something that is bigger than just a trend. It’s an everyday lifestyle.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Lady Satori – Enlightenment of your essence. When you hear this, what’s the first thought that comes to mind? Happiness? Finding your inner you? Both are correct, but the true purpose of Lady Satori is to embrace the quintessence and culture of today’s ethics and fashion. Our main fashion statement are luxury streetwear bras, corsets, and outerwear, no matter the size or shape. Every piece is formulated with time and dedication. Our California based brand brings out the true style and swag of the West Coast. Lady Satori’s bras and corsets are made to supply each lady with enough cushion and confidence to go on with her daily life. They are manufactured with high quality material, so you are entitled to feel your absolute best while in it. From an AAA to I, each design is detailed differently and has an unique look that would catch anyone’s eye. One small breasted individual might say “Ugh I can’t find any bras that doesn’t have that “gap” and provide me with a comfortable push up feeling.” Not to worry, FancyCups has an internal pocket for additional padded inserts that’ll boost your rack and confidence! We also accept custom orders, so nothing is impossible when it comes to providing each client with their best bra. We are all aware of how breasts change and tissue loss happens to millions of ladies here in the world. Being a breast cancer survivor, I’ve experienced first hand the complications of this and in dedication to all the strong survivors around the world, Lady Satori is taking action in providing FancyCups for breast augmentation and mastectomy patients as well. This also includes corsets as well! Our eccentric outerwear isn’t any different when it comes to customization designed to your liking and could be flaunted with your attire. With our outerwear, we are set on creating the simplest contentment in a wardrobe entailed with a cultural twist and provide the perfect combination of warmth and glam in one. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents (RIP) was one of my biggest supporter of my talents. My children was my motivation to stay focus and not to give up on life challenges. My mentor Dajahn A. Blevins (founder/CEO of San Diego Urban ofWarrior). Urban Warriors began to try and use the arts for prevention and intervention for the self destruction some infected youth and community members were embracing. San Diego Urban Warriors’ creative gang diversion program. Founder Dajahn Blevins taught health education and performing arts to at-risk youth as a means of social development, cultural enrichment and self-empowerment. The students presented to sold-out performance at the San Diego Repertory Theatre at the end of the program, and the feedback from the community was so strong, Edutainment was born. In 1993 the Urban Warriors annual celebration Kuumba Fest moved to the Lyceum Theatre and was Co-produced by the Rep and its African American Council, taking the Community Park Celebration to an Arts extravaganza of celebrating positive lifestyle changes through the arts Kuumba Fest is the county’s longest-running celebration of African-derived culture and commerce.
