We had the good fortune of connecting with Clarion Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Clarion, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?

I think the most important thing I have done for my children is not giving them money, nice clothes, or even taking them on trips. Introducing them to JESUS is the most meaningful thing I have done for them. My parents raised me in the church, and that was the best thing that they could have ever done for me. Although I rebelled and strayed away for some time (as some children do), I always knew where to run back to.

At a very early age I surrendered my life to Christ, which is still the best decision I have ever made in my life. When I made this decision, I then realized that my children do not belong to me; they belong to God. Therefore, it is my duty to set them on the path that God has for them and continually support them in following that path. As their parent, I am simply a vessel for God to work through in their lives. In other words, Jesus Christ is able to provide my children with things that I will never be able to, just like God has done for me in multiple areas of my life. I gave my children Jesus because living a life for him has saved me!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sets me apart from others is that I intentionally set aside time to work on the inner confidence of my clients first. There is no way you can rock the most beautiful outfit in the room and walk around without confidence; inner confidence is so important in this field. I am most proud of the fact that I got started and I didn’t look back and stop just because I hit a few roadblocks and obstacles. It was not easy though; I had to spend time away from my children for a short time just to see my dream manifest. I have spent days and nights crying and believing God to show me a vision that’s bigger than me and furthermore, a vision that will change the world. Two of the most significant lessons I have learned in this field are: (1) Know your target audience and (2) Just because things aren’t perfect doesn’t mean that you can’t start!

I want the world to know that I’m passionate about presenting modesty in women’s attire and that I am willing to make whatever sound efforts are necessary to have this dream come to pass!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting in the area for a week. I would take her to the Varsity as it is known as one of the most popular landmarks in Atlanta. We would then go down the street to Centennial Park for a girl’s fun day at park. I would make sure my girl stays in the W in the heart of downtown Atlanta. I would then take my friend to Edgewood Avenue specifically BQE. At BQE the vibes are grown and sexy and the food is amazing! Throughout her stay, I would take her to Hattie Marie’s the BEST BBQ in Atlanta, Suite Lounge, Aquarium, and of course to Auburn Ave to visit the House the late great Dr. King. I know she would have a blast with me!
