Meet Cindy @blessedhouseofthree: Instagram influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cindy @blessedhouseofthree and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cindy, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
One of my favorite quotes is “If your dreams don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough” Mohammed Ali. When I first became an influencer, I had many bad thoughts in my head. I can’t do that. There is so much competition. What if I don’t succeed. I don’t know what I’m doing. But this quote is so true. And it’s okay to be scared when you dream of something big, but you have to try. You will never know if you will succeed if you don’t try. And it may not be an easy journey but once you achieve your dream it will be worth it.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am an influencer and interior designer. I am most proud that I am able to inspire others. It was definitely not easy to get to where I am today. I overcame some challenges with lots of trial and error. It is easy to join the mainstream, but you have to stick to what your heart truly desires even if it’s a little off mainstream. It’s also easy to fall in the popularity trap, but it’s important to remember to stay true to yourself and find joy in what you do.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
One of the areas in town, we would go to is downtown McKinney. I love the charm. We would have breakfast at Spoons Cafe. Then do some shopping. There are lots of vintage and quant shops. We would then have lunch at Hutchins Barbecue or Cadillac Pizza. Desert at Emporium pies. Then we would do some more shopping. Towards the evening we would go to The Yard for some drinks and enjoy the nice weather. The next day we would go to white rock lake for a long walk or bike ride. Then we would go to dinner at Javiers. Their food is yummy and so are their drinks. The next day we would head to the shops of Legacy. They have great shops and restaurants. We would first do some shopping and then have dinner at Del Frisco’s. Then we would go to Sprinkles for dessert. Yum.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give credit and recognition for the relentless support to my husband and the friends and mentors that I’ve made along the way. When things get tough or the road gets bumpy, they are always there to encourage and cheer me on. It helps fuel me to continue on my journey even when the going gets tough.
