We had the good fortune of connecting with Cinchona King and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cinchona, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
My business impacts the community and world by saving lives! My business teaches all age groups how to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation aka CPR. CPR can help save a life if performed correctly.
What should our readers know about your business?
I’m a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Instructor. I teach life save techniques to help save lives. My courses teach all age groups including kids and educational background. I also teach Basic Life Support (BLS) renewals, Heart-savers, First Aid, Family and Friends courses. With my real life nursing experience I’m able to offer high quality educational training. I offer classes at convenient locations and willing to travel to teach large groups.
What sets me apart from other CPR Instructors is my life long medical background and the love of teaching, helping others and saving lives!
I’m most proud of my DRIVE! Life have a way of changing in a blank or an eye but I never let my circumstances nor situation deter me from achieving my goals and dreams.
My career in Healthcare stared at the age of 17 years old. When I graduated from High School I obtain a Certified Nursing Assistant Certification. I Work as a CNA for almost two years. While working as a CNA I obtained my Phlebotomist License and EKG Technician Certification. From then I worked in various hospitals and clinical settings. While working as a Phlebotomist I was enroll in License Vocational Nursing Program. I graduated from nursing school in December 2005. As a nurse I’ve worked in Jail Health, Home Health and Acute Rehabilitation. While working as a LVN I was in school for my Register Nurse Degree. I graduated from RN school Winter 2020.
Through my years of teaching I became a preceptor. That’s were my passion for medical teaching kicked in!
As many will say it’s not easy but for me my career is truly worth it! I’ve overcame many of my challenges with prayer my Husband, family and friends support. Most of all it took discipline on my part to put extra curriculum actives aside study and focus on what was important at the time.
In this thing called life I have learned nothing comes easy but if you are willing to put in the effort make sacrifices you to can achieve anything your heart desire.
I want the world to know I’m passionate about teaching. I’m hands on with my classes. I use real life approaches and scenarios when teaching classes with the curriculum. When students leave my class I want them to be confident in performing life saving techniques on themselves family friends and or strangers.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Trinity Groves area: You can have lunch dinner desert and or drinks indoor or outdoors with entertainment. Also you can take a walk on the Margaret Hunt Bridge.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
