We had the good fortune of connecting with Christine Garcia and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christine, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Coming up with my business started from seeing a true need for an honest, reasonable, budget friendly professional photographer. After my husband and I paid over a $1000 dollars for our wedding photography, receiving only 36 4×6 prints and them wanting an additional $1000 for access to any digitals. I learned quickly that I needed to create a budget friendly, reliable professional photography business that includes all edited digital images. Of course mini-sessions do not include all the digital images but there is a reasonable option to purchase them which most of my clients to. Communication is key and helps to retain clients which is vital because those clients recommending you to others is how you grow your business.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My story is simple. I intend to always provide professional photography services to DFW and beyond obtainable by any budget. What sets me apart is that I do not time my sessions nor count how many digital images my clients with receive. Whatever comes out during our time together is what my clients will receive. I have a unique, deep editing style that is true to color which my clients love. It wasn’t easy from 2015 and getting to where I am today seven years later but all my struggles have done nothing but taught me how to be even more successful. I am a life long learner and I am an excited to continue to learn and grow with my clients in order to grow my business!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite places in the city include Downtown Dallas, Reunion Tower, catching a game or concert at the AA Center, touring Trinity Skyline area which has awesome restaurants as well as Uptown & Deep Ellum. Kyde Warren Park is awesome to touring and eating. Don’t forget visiting Dallas Arboretum when in opens and seeing Town Lake and don’t forget the Dallas zoo plus Aquarium. Perot Museum is awesome as well! Mid-city area – Downtown Grapevine, Mandalay Canal in Irving, Downtown Arlington: Rangers game at the new Globelife field & Dallas Cowboys game at AT&T Stadium. Amusement parks are definitely a must: Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor!
Fort Worth – Botanical Gardens, Fort Worth Zoo and walking the Stockyards is a must.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First of all I would like to give a shoutout to my husband and our four beautiful children who have supported me and giving me countless hours to fine tune and continue to grow CGPhotography. I would also like to thank the city and school district of Grand Prairie for helping me grow my cliental.
