We had the good fortune of connecting with Christina Willie and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christina, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Well, recently I’ve been making a lot changes to and for my business. Adding new things. Taking out the old. I want to sell things that aren’t already being sold in my town. Things that’ll catch the attention of others. While also have great prices that’s affordable to everyone.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is mainly a women’s boutique. It is dedicated to all women of different sizes as far as clothing goes. I sell more of the trendy clothing and accessories. While also, kind of, being outside the box. The thing that I’m most proud of is the satisfaction I get from satisfied customers. Knowing that they’re happy with my product(s), makes my day. As far as it being easy…HA! Not easy at all. It can be very stressful. One day it’s smooth and the next you’re frustrated because of certain things. Sometimes things don’t go as planned. There have been a few times where I’ve completely stopped doing everything. But, I realized that there was a big goal I want to reach as business owner. I seen the bigger picture of life. So, that’s what really keeps me motivated. The lesson I learned along the way is just to be patient and prayerful. That alone…has helped me. Cause sometimes you have to pray to the Lord for patients. But, what I want the world to know about my business is that it’s okay to be your true self. It’s okay to feel comfortable in your skin. It’s okay to feel beautiful. Cause I had to learn that myself. And that’s what I base my business off of.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Most Definitely Andretti Indoor Kart & Games! That is the perfect place to go just for fun. It is literally an adult arcade where you can feel like a kid. There’s a bar included! Also in that area, it’s a park, a movie theater. Salt Grass is the restaurant I’d take them to. Food is amazing. I also recommend the Pomegranate Mojoto. The Galleria – Love that mall! An aquarium. I can go on for awhile!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Firstly God himself. Secondly, my friends and family that support and purchase from me. My mom is my biggest supporter. And thirdly, a huge thank you to everyone that supports me outside of them. In the same town, outside of town, and in the different states a had the chance to fulfill orders to.
