We had the good fortune of connecting with Chikeitha Owens and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chikeitha, what principle do you value most?
One principle that matters for me include building upon my value of helping others and conducting business in alignment with my faith. I believe that you reap what you sow. If you sow good seeds you grow good fruit. I choose to live my life as well as do my business God’sway.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

My business journey has been long and started back in 2009. Along the way I have learned that the saying your network is your net worth has some truth to it. Networking in business is so important because it not only allows your business to expand and grow but also helps you to grow on a personal level.
Abundance of Hope mission is to help individuals find hope in their search for a more abundant life. Through the many platforms being used via Zoom, on stages. in the office or wherever the opportunity is given the message will go forward to instill hope in those that may feel they have lost their way.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would definitely have to go to the Cheesecake Factory. Maybe grab some of Fuel City Tacos. Hangout at the Galleria or North Park mall. Do some more fun shopping at Sam Moons. We would visit the Dallas Arboretum and the Farmers Market. Grab some ice cream and peach cobbler from Beth Marie. Work off all those carbs by walking the trail at Arbor Hills Nature Reserve in Plano. Maybe check out the Reunion Tower in downtown Dallas.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a shout out to my Heavenly Father who is always making a way. I am grateful that I serve a God who has been and still is a light unto my path and a lamp unto my feet. There have been many days on my journey when things did not look possible but I am always reminded that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
