Hi Cher, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I am a Dallas Texas-born resident for 42 years, I am one of those people that’s from a little bit of everywhere, From al walks of life ..West Dallas, Oak Cliff Pleasant grove, and South Dallas, So my upbringing played a big impact it was unique raised by family But yet raised with morals and taught respect my Aunt Betty Carol rest her soul did that, Introduce me to GOD… My background is why I am who I am today I have always been into beauty and hair, at the age 11-12yrs old, Hair wasn’t my passion but beauty was, Lashes and Skincare and makeup, I remember walking the halls Lincoln High School with the Biggest hair and longest eyelashes lol Shout out to the class of 9T8!! I was a young Mother at 14 yrs old so my dream was still there but was on line 2 lol… at the age 34 years old, When I Birth my daughters, that’s when I knew I needed to go on and pursue my dreams for to give my babies the life I didn’t have. I’m a mother of 4 2boys 2 girls. So with that, no matter where you are from, and how you were brought up your Dream is your Dream and it’s up to you to Pursue it! Choices!!! I’m just gonna stop right here..it can get emotional..

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Whew, chile you should have called me, Where to start!! What sets Cher apart is me being me, I have never been the coat tail rider I’m always been the Virgo I am lol a whole character lady comedian …I’m most excited about how I went from lashes to now an esthetician instructor, If you could have asked me 8 years ago what was my goals I would have said some else probably but its what I’m doing now.,.SO amazing!! It wasn’t easy but with my Faith in God, it was an experience I have overcame a lot of challenges especially working for myself and building with $0.00 in my bank account, I use to hear people talk about me and didn’t come to me cause I wasn’t pretty enough or skinny enough, I’m sorry I’m me Not fake and don’t live a make-believe life. social media life what you see is what you get that’s personal and business you have to watch who your friends is. So I have overcome all challenges, Along the way I learned how it is to run a business the ups and downs, slow days no days you just call it all Joy and keep your faith and keep slaying.. To the world, I say Stay focus Nothing comes to a sleeper but a dream, stay prayed up believe in your self and pray for discernment to analyze the different spirits that surround you Everybody is not for you I don’t care how nice and giving they seem, I had to learn that I ask God to show me my enemies and lost everybody I thought highly of it was heart breaking but I’m enjoying my peace. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
WEll im not the going out type just a little, I’m old school i did that years ago I mean we may go visit a few restaurants and to the Casino I love the Casino and i love to road trip

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shout out my babies for keeping me on my toes, and my mommy Cheryl sneed for showing me Love matters on what it seemed, years change situations, and my sister Tachero that gives me sweet words when she knows her sister is about to break..And my best friend of 30 years Catrina Hider that practically bought all my supplies and equipment to start when I was new to the game, I love yall.. and of course, my family just for the love and the few girls and boy cousins that have come for service at that time, matters if you still come or not it means a lot. And my clients of course I’m nothing without you, The love and encouragement I get from the ladies referrals all mean a lot, My friend Shanequa Oliver was the first person who actually gave me the information to start lashing and allowed me the opportunity to come in her shop and build my clientele. And I can’t forget Marilyn Choice my Classmate of Lincoln High school 2021 we partnership MC2 Salon in Dallas tX . So you see my life is a little unique when you actually have genuine people in your life it makes a difference.
