We had the good fortune of connecting with Carla Andreina Ponceleon and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Carla Andreina, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
I believe one of the most important things is having God in your corner at all times. Making decisions through prayer and guidance, trusting that God has a plan and purpose for each of our life’s and that everything happens for a reason, because in a world where so many things are unknown and changing constantly, it’s good to know we have our anchor and trust in God to know that no matter what happens around us we will be okay.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I truly do love the field I am in, for so many reasons. This field let’s you learn and grow in so many different areas and companies, it helps you have some overall knowledge of a lot of different things. As much as I’ve loved it here, it definitely has not been an easy road. This is one of those sort of fields that move, change and grow so fast that if you do not keep up, you might get left behind. It has definitely been challenging to be able and willing to learn new things, do courses, be involved in different companies that teach you different areas of the field, but ultimately – all of it has been WAY worth it.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well, I am Venezuelan – but lived most of my life in South Florida (Ft. Lauderdale/Miami). So, there’s so much to do that a week would be a great time frame to know a basic idea of the city lifestyles. I am big into fitness, so that would be the main thing we would do at any point in time of the day. Morning/Early Afternoon would be great times to enjoy some tanning in any of our beautiful beaches. Evenings and night time, there’s anything and everything for all sorts of flavors. The night life is also big down south – anything from, clubs or restaurants, etc.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Definitely my mom and family. I couldn’t and wouldn’t be who/where I am today if it wasn’t for them.
