We had the good fortune of connecting with Calista Irene and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Calista, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have 3 young kids that I stay at home with and I wanted some way to help out with finances and give back and be able to contribute. I have always gone over the top for parties and events and one day a friend reached out to me wanting help with some balloon decor and she asked how much she could pay me which really just lit a lightbulb in my brain that I could be getting paid for this while also sharing my gift with others to get to enjoy their special moments! So from there is where the idea was born and it’s really taken off!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love to create all different kinds of setups! A lot of people who book me for balloon decor and backdrops have a vision for their day that I take and elevate beyond what they can imagine! I love seeing people’s reactions and their happiness once they see the finished product and that makes all the time put into it so worth it! I love being able to expand my portfolio so I am always trying something new and working on different techniques. What sets me apart from others is my passion and my willingness to go above and beyond for my clients. I’m a really easy going and kind person and it makes it really nice for my clients and easy for them to communicate with me! If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would definitely have a brunch at hash kitchen!

Go walk the stockyards and see the cattle drive!

Spend a day at the Fort Worth Zoo!

Take an evening and enjoy Wild Acres Brewery! The perfect place to go eat, drink and take the family to play!!
