We had the good fortune of connecting with Brylyn Lea and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brylyn, what do you attribute your success to?
I believe the most important factor to my success thus far is my transparency and relational equity I build with my couples. I love getting to know my couples to better understand their expectations and music tastes for their weddings. My goal is to ensure that their day goes smooth and all of their guests have a great time.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My journey has been a healthy and steady growth of my brand. I feel what sets me apart is my background in live productions. I grew up in a show-biz family, so managing and orchestrating productions has been instilled in me from a young age. I love being entrusted by my couples with making sure their special day is fun, smooth, and entertaining. I love getting the opportunity to work with new couples every year and making sure they are happy and will remember their wedding for years to come.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Being from Fort Worth Texas, I would recommend the following places to check out… Second Rodeo for drinks and a fun atmosphere. Sundance Square and the Historic Stockyards for sight seeing. Joe T Garcias for margaritas and enchiladas. Rodeo Goat for a great burger. You also can’t go wrong with a concert or show at Dickies Arena.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to shout-out and recognize my friend and mentor, John Bowman with Rock the Planet DJ. He is a great friend and has taught me best practices of how to take care of couples as a DJ.
