Meet Brittany Williams | Entrepreneur & Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittany, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Living life as an entrepreneur, upcoming business owner, and inspiring influencer often comes with many risk. You’re (R)apidly making life changing decisions to better your circumstances. Constantly having to (I)magine your plans and goals while they unravel in front of you. Making daily (S)acrifices to ensure these risk are worth taking, while trying not to doubt yourself. Having the (K)nowledge to know whatever you put your mind to, you will succeed! I took a HUGE risk uprooting my life from Las Vegas, Nv to Houston, Tx with $1500.00 in my bank account. No family , no friends and no actual idea what Career field I wanted to be in. I just knew it would be for a new start and career. I which then decided I just needed something more!  I moved to Dallas, Tx to officially restart! I decided to become a detention officer and go to school for law enforcement to become a deputy. Needless to say this is still all in the works while juggling being a new business owner/ entrepreneur!!  NEVER give up on your dreams and NEVER be afraid to take risk. You never know how far in life a risk can take you or if it can break you.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My current profession is law enforcement “Detention Officer”. It took me awhile to figure out what makes me happy and what I wanted to do in life . I shortly figured I wanted to work in law enforcement due to me being a kind and caring person . I love working with the community and helping someone change their lives. This process wasn’t the easiest but it was all worth it in the end. It’s a great career path for anyone looking to get their feet wet in the law enforcement industry. I am currently in the process of furthering my career to become a deputy in law enforcement.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting I would take her to deep Ellum to a few bars to bar hop. Enjoy some delicious Tex Mex food at Vidorra Dallas along with their delicious choice of beverages. We would visit XOXO garden and dining room for cocktails and brunch. Of course we can’t forget to snap a few photos ! We both love being out doors so we would visit Klyde Warren Park, enjoy some scenery from the art district and museum. Lastly, we would end the night on top of the world at Reunion Tower looking down at the beautiful skyline of the city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love you shout out my lovely Mother! She always encourages me & has instilled the strength I have today in myself! Without you there would be no me! Thank you for always being my biggest supporter!
