We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Ned and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittany, why did you pursue a creative career?
I was inspired by my Dad who is a graphic designer. I loved the creativity and uniqueness of his job. I wanted to do something creative that made a difference in other peoples life. I found photography which allowed me to capture special moments in peoples life!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
MadieRose Photography is a dream come true! I named the company after my grandmother and great grandmother. It was not easy growing a company in an over saturated market. I had to show people who was behind the camera and my personality. I learned that if you want to be right next to a bride for 10 hours they need to know who you are and if you can both get along and keep her calm on her big day. I want the world to know that I love photography and capturing people’s most important moments! That I take a journalistic approach and I will shed a tear on your big day if anybody cries.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m taking her to Bishop Arts. I love all the art work and the character that the street has. I would take her to Lockhart for some BBQ, Bishop Cider for some drinks then Emporium Pies for dessert.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shout out goes to my husband Edward. He has help me for many years in creating my successful business. He has second shot weddings and taken the lead in many family sessions. He stays up late with me to give opinions on my edits. He even took a lead at a wedding when I went into premature labor and did and amazing job!
