Meet Brittany Lashay | Esthetician/Body Contouring Specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Lashay and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my own business was personal for me. I’ve always been the type of person to start a task but never finish so I told myself if I start my business I have to be all in, I have to make it to the finish line no matter what it takes and no matter what sacrifices come along the way. There have been many trials and tribulations along the way but 4 years later I’m still here and still growing. We often times can be hard on ourselves but we have to always remember where we started and where we are now.

I am also the author of a Journal and Ebook called Memoirs Of A Girl Boss which is a motivational book to anyone who is feel stuck in their head and needs a extra boost in their business career or personal life.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Lashay’s Faces Day Spa we offer a variety of services to help our clients feel comfortable in their skin, reduce stress levels, lose weight and relax. We currently offer Skincare, Body Contouring, Detox Services and lip enhancements. I am where I at today in business by being consistent, sticking to my word and following the good word of god. Some lessons I’ve learned is to always remain humble, pay your tithes to the lord, provide good service to your clients, work smart and be consistent. I believe if you do all of those things you will continue to prosper and grow. I would like the world to know anything is possible if you stay positive, don’t be afraid to meet new people and to always keep a open mind.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’ve always been either a dress up let’s go eat type of girl or let’s go to an arcade and play games type of girl. Some nice restaurants to go to would be the steak houses in Dallas we have so many to choose from or if you like seafood we have high end seafood restaurants and some that are more affordable. As far as arcade games go andrettis will be on my top list it’s so nice it’s located in Frisco Tx.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
To be completely honest I really didn’t have much support starting out. I did have women that I was motivated by that I would watch on social media one in particular is Sierra Glamshop from Atlanta. She had such a inspirational story and she is also a firm believer in god. Along the way of my entrepreneur journey I have met other entrepreneurs that keep me going and motivated.
