We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Garcia and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittany, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
That my husbands sacrifice and hard work for me to be able to fulfill my dreams wouldn’t go in vain. My family will never go hungry as long as I have my business.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I have put many hours always learning new techniques so I can stay up to date with trending styles. I pride myself on my education. I have and continue to study everything nails. I live and breathe nails. I went from a cosmo student hating hair wondering if I made a mistake to doing nails and finding my calling. Now I’m also an instructor. One thing I’ve learn is this industry never gets easier, it’s always changing! Even then, I can’t imagine myself doing anything else! The one thing I want people to know about my brand is, I will always take the most pride in my work and always give my best!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take her to see deep Ellum, the trails in Cedar hill, six flags in arlington, Dallas city lights at night.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There’s many people in my life who have supported me in my career. Number one of course, my husband. He’s my biggest supporter, my number one fan. My aunt Susie who is my model and lets me be as creative as I want. Omayra for helping me learn my worth and not apologize for it! And last but not least my clients. I wouldn’t even have a business if not for them!
