We had the good fortune of connecting with Brandon Gomez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brandon, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
My favorite quote is “let it go let it flow.”
This quote speaks volumes to me because I believe that it speaks to how life comes in ebbs and flows. Adopting this mindset has helped me become fluid in my career path and shifted my perspective in life to appreciate the good and the bad times equally.
Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today business-wise. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
Currently I work in marketing for a company in the DFW area that services the Telecom industry. My role is focused on building marketing campaigns for our clients. I also professionally create and corporate videos like product launches, culture videos or social media videos.
What sets me apart is my incessant love to bring visions to life. Helping my clients bring a mess of words on a sticky note to a fully-fledged marketing plan makes my skin tingle.
Branding is truly a passion of mine and being able to express a message through creative designs or videos is where my heart is in my career.
Was it tough?
I will say that getting a job in marketing is tough as there is a large pool of graduates in marketing looking for a career in DFW.
Coming in with a general business marketing degree did not take me set me apart as much as I would have hoped. However I will say that though it was a challenge, I stayed consistent in finding a job in this industry because I knew my heart is in this type of work. As cheesy as it sounds, I believe as long as you love what you do, it will never feel like you worked a day in your life. For that reason, I made sure to stick with marketing and pave my career path.
I would want the world to know that I am a young professional who will promise and deliver. No matter the challenge, I can bring anything to life and that mindset is important to my personal story.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shout out to my family for teaching me how to lead with love and purpose.
I have found that treating people with respect, listening and being open to new ideas have carried me far more forward than any tactical skill I can write on my LinkedIn. By being intentional in my relationships with others, I have made the strongest bonds and connections I will never let go of. I learned the power of connection by growing up in a household built on love and respect.
Te amo, Familia Gomez. ️
